We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

NetherlandsCurtains: While the curtains did block most of the light, there was still light coming through from above the curtains. Elevator: There is only one elevator. Air conditioning: It takes hours cooling the room even on the highest setting.
Location: The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the train station. While you can sometimes hear the emergency sirens, it is overall a quiet location. A supermarket, Daiso, and 7-Eleven are located just around the corner! Luggage storage: Luggage can be stored on the day of arrival and departure. Room: The room was spacious and comfortable enough for one person. The bed was high enough to store luggage underneath, and had space for two full suitcases! The desk also had enough room to put stuff on. My room had a view of the Tokyo Skytree, and so I was able to watch the Sumida River Fireworks Festival from my room! Cleaning: Cleaning is done every third day of your stay, and in between, you can leave your towels and trash outside your door for them to be replaced. But you can also request room cleaning if needed!

Clean with all the essentials you need. You get clean towels and yukatas every day. Friendly staff. A short walk to Ueno station. Loved the view of Tokyo Sky Tree in the evenings.

The room is small by western standards, but was perfectly enough space. Lots of room to store luggage under the bed and there was a nice desk in the room. It was more than enough for me. The room and hotel were very clean. And the staff were great. The location was nice too. I bit off the main area, but it was quiet and there was a supermarket and Daiso right next to the hotel.

SwitzerlandThe logistics of the hotel are not well thought, there is only 1 elevator for 12 floors and no opportunities to use the stairs, so it takes quite a while to get in and out the room. Also, compared to other APA, this doesn't have any additional services.
Location was good, very convenient, rooms are what of a typical APA. Price was very good.
