SingaporeHotel had a smoking room right at the entrance. What made it worse was that the entrance to the smoking room was within the hotel so if you are in the lobby, you would be exposed to constant cigarette smell and smokers. The design should be better thought out. The rooms also smelled of stale cigarette smoke so you would constantly need to air it out, the smell probably lingers due to the old carpeting and curtains.
Room was spacious although dated in terms of furnishing and design. Bathroom was also bigger than other business hotels. Toilet was not heated if that is your preference, good to note.

The hotel is near the sea, so we could take a walk along the seaside and visit fish market in the morning. Besides, it won't take much time to get to the subway and the shopping area. If choosing not to get room services for days, we will be given a smaiil gift.

From the pics, it looks good and for the price of the 27,000 yen a night, it seems reasonable until u checked in and all expectations fall apart.

AustraliaThe hotel is extremely old. The light in the lift and corridor was very dark, it creates a horrible atmosphere together with the old facility. The room was not cleaned well at all. We found a spider in the room at the middle of the night, and piece of hair under the pillow. The room, especially the toilet was very smelly. We booked for two nights stay, but we had to leave after one night stay due to the poor environment. Unfortunately, we were not able to get a refund, and the hotel was only saying "Sorry" without any willing to provide a solution. And price was as high as a brand new hotel. The hotel in the picture seemed better than the actual.
Basically there was nothing we liked, though the location is quite close to tenjin station
