They did not rent bicycles. The only way to get to the train station or places to eat were the local buses but they stop at like 9pm. The hotel shuttle service from hotel to station stops working at 10am, which is checkout time. We had to walk back after dinner. We wanted to include dinner before our night (given there was no way to get to the restaurants) but they said (when we checked in around 3 pm) that they had already ordered everything for dinner and could not fit us in.

I reserved view to Mt. Fuji and the view was to the side a narrow, I was expecting a better view of Mt. Fuji from my room.

It's a little bit far from all the restaurants but we didn't mind because it was fun to walk along the lake

The building was luxurious in a "traditional Japanese" way, if you are looking for a mix between a Ryokan and a hotel, this is the place. The Onsen is great, clean and has a nice view on the lake. Also, the staff even delivered my forgotten items to my next hotel, in one day, for free. I thought I would never see these items again.

The accommodation provided excellent service—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The room was beautiful and clean. If I ever have the chance to stay in that area again, this will be the first place that comes to mind.

Last time I stayed staff cleaned my sneakers after Fujisan trip. This time they said they don't know how to do it because their washing machine for shoes broke. I said "just wipe them a little bit" but they said they don't know how to do it!! Really? You don't know how to wipe shoes?

I think the servers could have slowed down very slightly during dinner when they brought out the hot dishes. I felt that we were very slightly rushed because our hot dishes were already ready.

Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. There was a good balance of many Japanese delicacies and some more well-known foods to the Western palate. A very enjoyable spread and we liked the fact that everyone was invited to wear the traditional Japanese clothes that were provided to dinner. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The shuttle bus to and from the train station was easy to arrange at the tourist office and was a big reason for choosing this accommodation. We were able to keep our bags at the hotel both before check-in and after check-out. We enjoyed the view of Mount Fuji from our room. Just 5 mins walk from the hotel you can get an even more amazing view by following the side of the lake.

The price was a bit high. Hint = hotsprings are separated for man and women, as it is tradition in some hotels.

The personel was very helpful and with good attention. The breakfast was a nice experience to have, keep in mind that is not was someone can be used to in Europe or America, because of traditional flavours.

The clouds around Fuji to prevent us seeing it in it's full glory, we'll have to return!

Hospitality was fantastic, staff were really attentive and catered for every need right from the start. Facilities were great and what an amazing location. The onsen was the best we visited in the whole of Japan.
