Only small concern is the room is like a typical dorm and not a capsule, so you share it with 6 people. So if you're a late night person, you need to make sure you don't turn on the lights or disturb others.

I stayed here for 4 days and really enjoyed the stay. The hostel is 1km from the Kyoto station and is easily accessible by trains or bus. There are also couple of convenience stores around. The lounge is very spacious and is good to have a chat with people.

The air conditioning unit in our room kept turning off and it got quite hot

Big communal area and rooftop terrace. The hostel is within walking distance of shops and transport. Bike rental facilities downstairs are great. Very friendly staff.

The staff spoke really good English and were very helpful. The common areas are great to hang out in. We rented bicycles from the hostel and found it the best way to explore Kyoto.

Everything, I arrived after reception was closed but they gave me very easy instructions. My checking went super smoothly. The rooms were comfy and the bathrooms were clean and handy.

On the beds, if they have curtains to cover the light and sight, it would be perfect.

The share room is good. They even have a tub to take a bath. The door key card is convenient, just don’t forget to bring it.

Great location! A 8 mins walk to Kyoto Station. The place is HUGE. The staff was very nice and accommodating as well! Thank you for being so friendly and helpful. Great stay :)

Easy check-in. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We rented the bikes for a day, which is a great way to see the city. The communal living area and kitchen were spacious and clean. Able to store luggage after check out is helpful.

Dorms had no curtains and beds were very close together so not much privacy - but was a small issue considering the price I paid

The staff were incredibly helpful when I lost my passport - appreciated this as it’s a big hostel which are usually a lot more corporate feeling, but they were very friendly! The location is also excellent and was fantastic value compared to other places in Kyoto

Everything's organized well, so you don't need to worry about cleaning and other stuff. The kitchen's equipped fully and there's much space for all guest in the common area. The best thing's the guest house's located in 10 minutes from Kyoto Station and in 3 minutes from the one more local one.

K's house was a great place to stay! It has a large communal area with good facilities which made it very easy to meet people. The rooms are clean and there was never a queue to use the showers. The location is also super convenient and easy to walk to from the train station.

The AC placement was bad inside the room not for me but for my roommate so we had to turn it off , if it was a different season that will be an issue for everyone

Good location Clean amenities Friendly staff I accidentally booked the Japanese style room which was not as comfortable as I expected but was like a slumber party with the futons on the floor! I recommend this hostel.

Need to put on the bed sheet by ourselves. Everything seems too organized ... lack warmth.

Clean modern new hotel, 10min walking distance from Kyoto stn. Common room also bright and very cozy. Towel can be lend with some fees. Bathrobe note provided (unlike other hostel in Osaka). Bathroom & toilet are available in each floor. Room was spacious with auto locked door.
