- I felt as though they nickel-and-dimed me for a lot of things (e.g. take-out shampoo, conditioner and body wash set was 100 yen, bath towel was 100 yen) - Particularly annoying was the fact that they didn't provide hand wash in my room - I don't think they should be encouraging just rinsing your hands without soap after showering - The vending machine was broken during my stay - I would have appreciated the ability to buy cold drinks in the heat/after a bath - Small thing, but I found it odd that the TV doesn't come with a remote - don't they come with one each? Or are they afraid that I'll steal the batteries inside? - Another small thing - after I hung my clothes up by the window to dry, they smelled like cigarette smoke for a bit (someone must have been smoking downstairs)

- Great value! Huge room that would have fit three futons and a table, plus private toilet and sink, for 4100 yen a night - Both my room and the common spaces were very clean and had no noticeable smell - Futon, pillow and blanket were very soft and comfortable - Was useful to have the lobby as a communal space to work etc. - Right next to all three onsens so I could go bathe and walk back without feeling dirty again - The staff were smiley and made very, very sure I knew how to use the TV in my room

No lifts, which wasn't a problem for us since we booked the capsules which were on level 2. However, if you book the rooms which were on levels 3 and 4 you're gonna have to climb. Also toilets felt a little dirty.

I was told to put my bicycle in front of the main entrance, but there was some funny smell there - it needed some deep cleaning. Its also the designated smoking area. At least I can haul most of my gear to my bed.

Dirt cheap, minutes from Dogo Onsen on foot. If you travel to Matsuyama just for the Onsen and is on the move the next day this is a very good place to enjoy the bath.

The room was tidy and spacious, futons were clean and comfy. The common areas were clean and quiet, very respectful. Bathrooms had toiletries. It was super close to Dogo Onsen, we had a great time at Eco Dogo.

I was there 3 nights and I don't think the bathrooms were cleaned at any point. The mirrors were disgusting. Also there was a 1 specific male toilet and then one mixed toilet but no female only toilet.

Much to my surprise, there were only 1 toilet stall and 3 showers stalls on the 2nd floor. Luckily, me and my friend usually get back late thus waiting for a free toilet or shower stall was not an issue.

Stayed at Hotel Eco Dogo for two nights and overall had a good experience. It only takes 3 minutes to walk to Dogo Onsen and 6 minutes to walk to Dogo Onsen station. There is a limousine bus ran by Iyotestu/伊予鉄道 which take you from directly from Matsuyama airport to Dogo Onsen Station or vice versa. The dorm room bed is quite spacious and there is a dedicated full-size locker for each dorm occupant. The lady who handles the reception duty is very helpful and friendly.
