You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SpainOur plan was to cook dinner at the house. We are 3 adults. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't reach our expectations since it was very small. There is one pan and one pot, very few cooking materials and, most importantly, one fire. We think that in comparison to the size of the house, the kitchen is very small. There is a nearby huge supermarket to buy pre-made food.
The house is a very traditional and beautiful place. The rooms were fully equipped with a bathroom in each of them. The beds were very comfortable and easy to move around (in case someone wants to change rooms). Extremely clean. We rented a car and being able to park the house in front of the house is very useful and easy. Thanks to our transportation, it was very easy to get to most touristic places. The neighbourhood was very quiet and the house was fully isolated. The hosts were lovely and easy to reach out in case it's needed. The pictures shown here are accurate.

The staff is polite and friendly. The home is very clean and has beautiful interior, the pictures don't do it justice. For people who are sensitive to morning light: dont worry, you can darken the room with the roll curtain outside the washi paper windows. Even my partner was able to sleep in the morning. The staff even left us some drinks and snacks. the washing machine is handy and everything is just so clean. it's great. communication is also pretty fast and nice. since it was my first time doing a hotel stay so personal, is was nervous, but it turned out awesome. 10/10 would recommend!

AustriaA small, very modern and perfectly clean house for approx. 8 minutes' walk from the train that takes you to Kyoto Station. The hosts are particularly attentive and helpful, and the owner's daughter speaks English. The kitchen is suitable for preparing some simple food, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Each detail is exactly suitable for the description and the photos. Four of us stayed here and fit comfortably. Great venue for Kyoto's discovery and much more comfortable and authentic than a hotel room!
