Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The rooms are very small. I was bumping into everything and that’s the biggest downside for me.
Location is great; I don’t think it can get any better than that. The staff were very nice and free breakfast is a nice perk and feels very traditional.

Older facility and tatami is thin.
Right next to Ohori park. Simple Japanese style breakfast for free. Free coco and coffee at center hours. Staff very friendly.

No restaurants nearby but there were convenience stores.
Friendly staff. Near Ohori park and my daughter’s house. They served breakfast and free drinks are available 24/7.

The dining area was small, when I went down at 7:10am, I had no place to sit. So I went out for a walk and came back at 8:10am for breakfast.
The bed was comfortable for me, and the breakfast was fair for the price. Sound proofing was ok.

Very small bathroom without any bidet. Same breakfast everyday
It’s right across Maizuru park and very near Ohori park, so if you go during Sakura season, you will be able to enjoy all the cherry blossoms every time you go out of the hotel

Rooms are pretty small but you probably won’t find a bigger room there for this price
Located close to the park. Everything is pretty clean. Staff is very friendly. Having a small breakfast for free for this price is also rarely found.

The "laundry room" is just a washing machine snd dryer in the garage, in the open, and it left my clothes with a weird smell. I had to wash everything again the next morning. The toilet was pretty dirty around the inner rim, which was a little unsettling.
The staff was really helpful and let me kept my luggage at the front desk after check out for a long time, as I had to take a bus at night.

Under bed was little bit dusty. There was no mirror on the table which would be nice to do makeup as there were 2 of us. The door had normal key not key card and we needed to give the key back everytime we left the hotel room which was little annoying.
Near to the parks and 7eleven just around the corner. Station was around 7min on foot. The free breakfast was just 2 tiny pieces of bread and boiled egg. It was free so i dont complain but it was too small. The staff was nice.

Hotel was old. Room was small.
Simple breakfast was good. Staff was very nice although speak no English. On-site parking was good but limited, and you need to reserve in advance. Value for money.

Room very small and a bit dated. However, rooms in Japan are typically small so to be expected.
Nice location opposite park. Room had all amenities. Staff were helpful. Location between two metro stops around 5 minute walk to both. Some nice cafes and convenience stores a few minutes away. Good value for Fukuoka area

The bathroom floods whenever you drain the water from the bath tub

The staff was unpleasant, unhelpful, and clearly showed they didn't care. If you don't speak japanese, it's your fault. They didn't put in an effort, even when I tried to communicate in Japanese. I almost had to force the help to explain how to use the laundry machine because they replied only to my questions in a monosyllabic sentence and monocord tone. The breakfast is a bad joke. The window of hours for breakfast is too small, 2h from 7:00 to 9:00. One day, I overslept, came down at 9:10, and was denied the breakfast I paid. The next day, I found out the breakfast (always the same, btw) was a bag of a tiny croissant and sweet and boiled eggs. The staff denied me breakfast because I was 10 mins late, and they could've just grabbed a stupid bag and a boiled egg and handed it over to me. Never again I'll stay in this place and I recommend foreigners to do the same. I spent one month in Japan, and this unpleasantness never happened thankfully

Unfortunately there was nothing to like about!!
If you state that breakfast is provided, please provide details on the specific type. Just having bread and coffee from a machine doesn't qualify as a proper breakfast. I won't be booking through booking.com anymore as the recommended places seem to be declining in quality towards the end of my trip.

Cold. It probably had central heating as there was no unit in the room. But it was cold and there was no way to adjust the heat.
