Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesElevators were somewhat slow and waits were longer than expected. Only 2 washing machines.. I had to go down and check 3 times to see if it was available as it was being used and dry time was extended.
Great location. Perfect sized room for a solo traveler. Room was very clean and bed and pillow was very comfortable. Loved the shampoo and body wash.

RomaniaThe size of the room is rather small, the size within the description includes the bathroom. The coffee at breakfast is instant, so it is quite bad.
The location was perfect for us, it is right next to the Tsukiji fish market and Ginza neighborhood. Breakfast was good and varied.

LithuaniaThe planning of the hotel room is not ideal, and due to that room felt even smaller than it actually was. Two of us were not able to have our luggage open at the same time as there were not enough space. Bed was comfy yet a bit on a smaller side for two people and was super close to the wall. Staff was helpful but I wished they would act more like other Japanease hotels and would say ‘hello’ or ‘have a nice day’ when guests were coming or leaving hotel.
Hotel is located 5 min walk from a metro station and had good communication to the other touristy parts of the city. Hotel was clean, had washing machine and dryer for self service washing, microwave for a common use. The room was super quiet and bed was comfy. Liked that we were able to see washing machines availability on e tv screen in the hotel room. Rom had a mini fridge and water was provided every day; towels were changed daily as well.

TaiwanIt's close to metro station and near Ginza shopping district. It's easy to travel to nearby tourist places by metro. As for the hotel, it's nice and quiet. The room is tidy, but not big. It might be tricky to open big luggage in the room. Overall, I enjoyed the time in Ginza.

United StatesLocation was great, few minutes walk to a convenient store and also closest station provides quick access to major parts of Tokyo. There is also a convenient line to the NRT (Narita Airport). Lobby was full of people using luggage storage/forwarding. The key card security was pretty cool. You're only able to use the elevator with a room key card and you can only go to the 1st, 2nd, or your floor. No issues with the staff, room or amenities. The room is small and it is cramped when opening the luggages but it is expected in Japan.

NetherlandsThe room was quite small, with little place for our luggage. But perhaps this is standard for Tokyo and fitting for the price. The room is not cleaned every day, but towels can be provided every day. As we do not need new towels every day, we placed the do not disturb sign on the door. However, coming back to our room in the evening, there was a bag with clean towels (not needed) and 2 small water bottles (very welcome) hanging from our door handle. This repeated the next day and in spite of hanging the bag with dirty towels at our door handle one day, at some point we had 3 bags with clean towels, for which we did not have room. It would be good if the hotel could organize this a bit better, e.g. provide water bottles and towels at the front desk for those who do not need towels every day.
Great location, only a few minutes walking to Ginza and to the Tsukiji fish market. There are multiple different metro stations nearby, with a large choice of lines, so often no change of trains is needed. The hotel is quite new and in a quiet area. Our rooms were clean and modern, but with a spacious Japanese onsen-type bathroom. The toilet was in a separate room and the washbasin was in a niche in the main room, which was very practical.

United StatesNothing to Unlike
10 mins away from Tsukiji Fish market, it’s a contemporary hotel in a quiet neighborhood. It has western touch but the room size is smaller in comparison with US hotels which is in general same almost everywhere in Tokyo but the amenities are much more and my 65 usd dollar for a lovely stay was so worth it. That value would be a shabby run down of a mill hotel for sure when in US. They provided slippers and pajamas for sleeping and the ever impressive bidet. This hotel is environmentally conscious as well, you have to ask disposable amenities that you might need like razors, toothbrushes and what not. They even have linen spray to freshen up the wardrobe. I enjoyed my overnight stay here and as most hotels in Tokyo, it’s okay to store your luggage with them for certain hours for free

United StatesThe room had everything we needed and we were comfortable. We only did the buffet Breakfast one time and we were pleasantly surprised at all the tasty Japanese and Western items they had to offer! We enjoyed the location and took advantage of being just a couple blocks away from the fish market most mornings before we went off exploring the rest of the city. The hotel staff was friendly and we took advantage of the luggage forwarding service which worked out well!

Great location right next to old fish market with lots of good restaurants and shopping, very clean and calm for a good night sleep. Friendly staff. Can absolutely recommend it and would stay here again. Early check-in available for 1000 yen per hour which can be very useful after a long flight.

GuamWe stayed here July 18-20 and then came back July 24-27. GoTaxis easily found the hotel. Check in was easy and staff was able to hold our luggage until check-in time. They did the same when we checked out and it was too early to go to the airport. Note if you do a late check out, the latest you can stay is 2pm and it's Y2000 per hour after check out time. After 2pm, it's full night charge. Amenities available via front desk. Walking distance to Tsukiji Fish Market. Family Mart, 7eleven, Lawsons, and Ginza shopping streets. Rooms are small as expected in Japan but beds were comfortable. Even had a dual pillow - one side was soft, other side was firm. Spacious shower/tub and nice smelling toiletries. Towels and free water bottles replaced everyday. And daily trash removal as well. If you do laundry on the 2nd floor, you can see the status on your hotel room tv, pretty cool.
