Everything was so nice - just be aware that there is no convenience store nearby. But we just shopped in the city and brought home, it was not a problem. And if you don't want to do that, there are cafes and restaurants near the ocean :-)

The hosts were absolutely lovely and friendly and helpful! They were quick to answer any questions we had and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The house is big, the kitchen has everything and more if you want to cook yourself. It is a ten minute walk from the station and 15 minutes from the beach.

The house is modern and well equipped with all you need. Love the wash and dry machine. Asumi, her husband and daughter were super nice. They even offered a trip to the supermarket by their car. The packing space is a bit difficult for Alphard, and the kitchen is upstairs. The rest is perfect for group of 7.

Perfect stay in Kamakura, so much space for our family of 5. Asami met us on arrival to show us the inn. Give us a small tour and how to use the appliance etc. Kept in touch with us throughout our 2 day stay. Was only a 6 min walk from the station. Asami gave us loads of information for things to do in the area, even went out of her way to look at car and bike rentals for us which was fab 😊 The inn itself was perfect, kitchen had everything you need, swing in the living area which was a big success with our daughter! beds were super comfy, Asami made check in and check out easy. We could of easily spent a week here if we had the time! Was sad to leave so soon. Great host, it was lovely meeting you and your daughter. When we come back, we will come here again in heart beat ✨✨

Nothing negative to say.

We absolutely loved the house. There was a ton of room for everyone, and the hosts thought things through. The host that met us was very friendly and helpful. The house is in a neighborhood so it's quiet and peaceful. It's located a quick walk to the train station where a quick ride takes you to tons of restaurants, etc. If you don't feel like venturing out then we actually got food delivered. The host even let us check in early once she was done cleaning and that was so nice as we had luggage with us.

Kensuke Sato san and Asami San were very helpful from the time of the reservation until the time we left. The house was exceptional, the checkin and checkout process very smooth, all the arrangements and explanations of the operations were very clear. The house was very clean and had enough things to help make our stay very comfortable. I only wish we had planned more number of days.

It was very hard to fault.

The house is spacious and thoughtfully designed to take advantage of the views of the forest and gardens surrounding the house. It's in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood, a few minutes walk from Gokurakuji train station. The owners were extremely generous hosts and even invited us to dinner during our stay. We would love to stay again at Gokurakuji House.

The area was a little out of the way of stores etc, but still pretty close to a station so it wasn't a big deal.

There was nothing we did not like, only one small problem is there is no 7 eleven or convenience store nearby, so bring food shopping from elsewhere.

Beautifully spacious presented house and close enough to walk the train station. Lots of room for the family but apart from the main bedroom, which has 2 x single beds, other beds were mattresses on the floor, however when in Japan :) Owners are very friendly and accommodating. They picked us up from the train station when we arrived as it was raining and offered to cook us dinner on our last night. Very quiet and beautiful area.
