the entry is hard to get in especially you carried lots of luggage. The stone road is not easy for luggage moving

the environment and vibe are good there. I like their interior design, very contemporary and artsy.

Incredible stay- the room itself is gorgeous with a breathtaking view. The bath was such a nice addition. The design and thought that went into every single detail was wonderful. We had heavy luggages but they took care of bringing them up. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Staircase up to the rooms could be tricky with a lot of luggage. That being said, the staff helped us check in and bring our bags up the stairs.

Room overlooks the river which is beautiful. The amenities provided were also super.

The location is great to access the subway. Especially kamogaea Riverfront view from the master bedroom is killer.

Lack of wardrobe and luggage spaces.

Great location. Well equipped with necessary appliances. Thoughtfully designed interior blending historical elements with a contemporary aesthetic. Amazing view of the Kamo River with an operable window. Air conditioning in every room.

The bathtub was nice but somewhat awkward to use. The staircase steps are very shallow and a little tricky to get down, and pretty steep. The key was a little awkward to carry around all day since it was so large.

The hosts were very hospitable and met us at the property. Location was very central and it was easy to get to both the local metro and the JR lines. Upstairs has a big window with chairs that overlooks the river, which we loved.

tub was filled with stains. lighting was dim, especially bathroom. no tv. outdoor toilet not practical. main door lock is antique. not child friendly.

property was big. bathroom was roomy facilities are good. rustic feel good scenery. for people who wana try traditional house with some morden ameities.

Me, my wife and an adult son stay for 4 nights, finding the place very good, but could be more practical. The 2nd toilet only approachable from outside, and should be moved inside for more convenience. The stair is steep and narrow, which is difficult to navigate at night when you have to drowsily come down to toilet, which is only available downstairs. The bedroom closet is locked for storage, so there’s no places to hang your clothes upstair. We have to put our clothes on the floor, which defeat the purpose of enjoying the super artistic design of the place. The last issue might only be our bad luck. There was a construction work next to the property when we stayed, starting 8am until late afternoon everyday, which kind of ruin the peacefulness that we expected when we choose the place. Overall. The place could be perfect for a couple, since the external 2nd toilet and the unavailability of 2nd floor closet and toilet is a bother.

The artistic design, and the quality of the decorations of the whole place. The seclude, quiet location, next to Kamohan river, and just a short walk to bustling areas. Good for the price (when we booked).

Everything was lovely. No complaints.

This is a stunning house, a stylish modern ryokan style with every amenity. The views of the river are tranquil, the spa-like bath is relaxing, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We were there on a hot day and the AC worked well. We had the preordered traditional Kaiseki style breakfast that was fresh and tasty. The hostess was helpful and friendly. The house was also impeccably clean and beautifully designed. Very pleased we had the chance to stay here!
