Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe WiFi was not good in our room. Very slow at times.
We love Nakajima park so the location was great for us. Since it was winter time, the location is directly across where you can rent cross country skiing for free! Also the staff was very helpful and kind. We really liked the Japanese breakfast and the super helpful and kind breakfast staff.

RussiaIf they could provide some transfer services it would be great. The restaurant was out of service, so the only way to eat is convinience shop or restaurants at the center
Not that easy to reach if you have no car. Specially in winter, as all the roads are snowy. Cafe and restaurants are pretty apart. But the park nearby is beautiful.

AustraliaLoved the location, directly across from the snowey Nakajima Park. You can hire skis or just play in the snow, which my daughter loved. Room was surprisingly big for Japan and very well maintained. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was a little average but wasn't a big deal. Close to city centre on the subway but far enough to be quiet. Loved our stay, would definitely go back!

JapanNot really much to dislike to be honest. One thing is that the breakfast, while good, is a bit overpriced at ¥1800 if you don’t have it included in the room rate.
The room was big. Corner room so large windows with views over the park. Nice big TV in the room. Good wifi. Bathroom was fine. Decent breakfast options.

NetherlandsNot super close to the city centre or train station, but still very doable with public transport or if you don't mind walking a bit.
The room was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. The check-in and check-out procedures were very smooth.

SingaporeThe hotel is quite old. Room is quite warm (even in October) and stuffy. There is no aircon. The "Aircon" switch is for heater. A bit far to walk to the nearest subway from the hotel.
Friendly staff. Peaceful and quiet. Hotel has laundry room and restaurant which serves buffet breakfast. Nakajima Park is just opposite the hotel (we can see the park from our room). . There is a small ramen/cha soba restaurant run by a couple and a convenient store nearby. Parking is available at the hotel (1500 yen per night)

JapanThe park was nice, but there wasn't much in terms of restaurants or convenience stores in the immediate vicinity. If you stay here, be prepared to pay for their breakfast, or plan in advance to get snacks/food elsewhere.
The hotel is right by the park. Made for a nice place to walk in the morning. The hotel is very easy to find from the nearest subway station.
