We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Location and staff are the best. The room next to reception is great space to have. My friends and I stayed 3 days at the hotel. And we decided to choose it for a second stay in Kyoto after our visit to Hiroshima

Excellent location, wonderful staff. It was a pleasure to stay there. In fact, we came back a few days later for a second stay in Kyoto. Quiet spaces. Nice soft jazz music in the lobby.

AustraliaThey won't clean your room for stays 4 nights and under (but will change towels and take out trash). I think they should update to keycards as it is much safer for guest access. Location is a bit inconvenient compared to other placecs we have stayed.
Big room, friendly staff, clean. Loved the free welcome drink. Bed is comfy. If you want to have a break from the endless crowds of Kyoto, this is nicely out of the way. 20-30 min walk to the big touristy areas.
