Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandI didn’t like that the AC was just above the bed, but i guess that’s the Japanese standard.
i liked that the bed was very comfortable and the view was actually amazing, easy checking in, about 15 minutes from all stations. I contacted the hotel beforehand to ask for the bigger bed (in the room for 3) and the bed was actually fine for the three of us. The lady in reception spoke perfect wnglish as well :)

AustriaI have allergies against dust and there was a bit of dust under the beds (more than it should be if you swipe with a vacuum across the floor under the beds once, so definitely something that can be improved in my opinion) Other than that, what I would give as negative points (which isn't the hotels fault specifically, but just as a heads up for others): - If you're a tall person, the toilet might be difficult to sit down on/stand back up - Baths are not possible if you're tall, unless you like crunching up, so just take a shower (showering is perfectly fine for people below 1,90 m) - Toilet paper is very thin (a common "problem" in Japan however, this isn't necessarily part of this, I stayed in 3 and 4 star hotels prior in Japan and they all seem to use very thin toilet paper. Not sure why, maybe because of the bidet function - not my thing though, so if you like thicker paper, just buy it not gonna lie)
Very friendly staff, not sure what some of the google reviews are about, but personally speaking, at the time of me writing this (June 10th, 2025) no problems whatsoever. You definitely get what you pay for. Careful though, the room might be a bit small if you bring too many baggages, so make sure to limit yourselves to 1 luggage per person (We had 3 and it got very crowded, but I was able to bring my 2nd bag somewhere else, which some people might not be able to do). Still, I recommend it and I would book it again, especially for the younger people out there, who are looking for a top location for a decent price. Positives that I can give a heads up for here: - Staff is very friendly (and speaks English! Not that common in Japan, including hotels) - Umbrellas right next to the elevators are free to use (bring it back of course after your trip) - They change your towels every day - Price is good for what you get - Very good connectivity close-by (Kanda Station, Akihabara Station, 2 Metros which can bring you towards the west (Shibuya) and towards the east (Tokyo Skytree) - Busses also very close-by, but personally didn't use them)

AustraliaThe bathroom was on the smaller side, but this didn't pose an issue for us. We wish our room was made up by the cleaners however this was our own fault for not putting out the sign to do so (only discovered it on our last night).
This hotel is located between a number of different metro stations which made it super accessible and easy to get to. We didn't have our luggage on arrival, but on departure the journey to train was an easy one. The room was spacious and clean and new towels were brought daily to our room which was a nice touch. The check in and check out process was super quick and easy!

SwitzerlandAt night it sometimes got really cold. If you are a light sleeper you should definitely take ear fluffs with you because the fridge and the outside will keep you awake. Besides that its what we expected for the money we spent.
If you are on a tight budget or have alot of stuff planned (like I had) and only stay in your hotel for sleeping then this gives you a fair value for your money. Best thing is definetly the location, its close to multiple different restaurants, 3 metro stations and the famous Akihabara district (please note that alot of the shops here open at 10am or later).

Cheap for the time we spent there. Really close to several underground and train stations, made it easy for us to get around.

AustraliaThere was a smell in the lobby area that did not effect our room but was unpleasant when you arrived in that area. There were no mugs for tea and coffee making, we made do with glasses, but a couple of mugs for hot beverages would not go astray, it's a minor thing but I like a cup of tea before bed.
This trip was 1st Japan travel for mother and daughter from Australia. Great location in close proximity to a number of different train lines and convenience stores. We asked for twin beds which was difficult to get in other hotels but available here. The facilities were basic but very adequate for our needs as we spent little time in the room. Fridge, kettle, microwave, Hairdryer and small bathroom, the shower was in the bath which was tallish, not a problem for us but could be for elderly. A place to hang a small amount of clothes. The beds were slightly elevated and our luggage was able to slide under. We had no problem sleeping, it was quite (we were on level 5) considering it's a busy area. We experienced a level 4 earthquake and only felt a slight sway to the building. The room was cleaned every 3rd day and that worked for us, but there was option to have towels done more often.
