Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt would be nice if there was a dinner table.
Friendly apartment hotel with high standard facilities. It's in an area that is walkable to the city centre and Koyoto station, although it takes 15 minutes and 20 minutes respectively.

TaiwanHighly recommend for family ! 1. The location is good , just a few minutes walking to the subway station. There are also Fresco (24h) to buy food and drinks . There is one famous soba restaurant just near the subway station. 2. The LDK arrangement is pretty good. You have 2 toilets on the side line and small kitchen beside the refrigerator. The wash machine is just outside the shower room . The 2 1-person sleeping bed are located on the opposite side of the shower room . And living room , TV and sofa is in between. One person can sleep on the sofa easily . 3. The kitchen ware is pretty nice and clean 4. The air conditioning is cool in summer

MalaysiaNothing about the hotel. :)
The hotel was a great choice. The rooms are big, complete with everything. You feel like home but with the "hotel" service. Will surely come back and choose same hotel next time. Suitable for parents who has kids (toddler or babies) highly recommended.

United StatesMaybe the keypad could have some sort of reinforcement of the numbers we typed- since we just had to keep in mind as we are typing (my parents were slower at this). There could maybe be an extra small mirror near the window for natural lighting as I did makeup. The bathroom and outside mirror were fine, but the lighting was not as good. And the window opener maybe it can be more clear about what it is because I pressed "push" and there was a loud noise, but we didn't know what happened until I realized the clothes we put on top of the rack was wet because the window was fully opened. Other than those very picky things, it was a great experience.
It exceeded my expectations- I did not expect there to be a kitchen area with all utensils and appliances provided, a washing machine that we ended up using everyday, and the most beautiful shower with a mirror inside and a waterfall shower head- I exploited this, it was way too comfortable. Towels were in abundance too in case we needed it. I liked that there was a separate room for the bidet toilet- super nice to use, and a mirror outside the bathroom in case all those rooms are occupied. We also loved the fridge it was a good size to fit all we bought. The different lighting options were also very nice to have- it provided a nice ambience, and the bed was super comfortable. Very nice view and central area to transport to places- 7/11 and Fresa were also very close by for quick snacks. Mostly, the staff was my favorite because they were super nice, cheerful, and helpful with luggage transport and questions in general. I also appreciated that the picture they took of us as a hotel memory was given back to us when we checked out alongside a little goody bag. I would say this was one of my favorite hotels ever, and all that needed to convince me was the experience itself.

AustraliaThis apartment was our best stay during our japan trip! The facilities were fantastic, amenities were great and the room looked modern but japanese style. Lastly, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond. If they ever open an apartment internationally, I would go there. Highly recommended 👌

AustraliaVery hard beds and pillows hard and thick - had trouble sleeping. the first room given to us was small and cramped for family of 4 and smelt like fish. They were nice to swap our room and it was a bit more spacious with a window. the first night we didn't realise there was a blind on the inside of the window that needed closing and it was hard to sleep with streetlight on outside. We found the blind the next day and had better sleep after. The double beds are small to share with 2. The lounges can be set up as a bed for kids but they were also very hard.
Close to 7-11 and Gojo train station. Staff were nice. They offered cold water and tea as well as toiletries and washing powder as needed. It had a washer/dryer combined so had clean clothes. Fairly close to shops and walk to Gion.

United StatesThe location is on a large, car- oriented street. Still very worth the stay!
Premium Apart MONday Kyoto Gojo was an amazing place to stay. We needed an extra night in Kyoto and this hotel was such a pleasant surprise! It is incredibly spacious and comfortable. There were two water closets - each with its own toilet and sink, a double sink with the washing machine, and a separate shower. Which means, including the kitchen sink, we had more sinks (5) than people (4). The room had a great little sitting area in the window with a view of Kyoto Tower. Walkable to local sights. We didn’t use the train station since the stay was so short - just walked everywhere - but station is nearby as well. Staff was attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again!
