Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe hotel is in a great location but our room was quite small for the price - during our 3 week trip we stayed in larger rooms for much less. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly but had limited knowledge. There are lots of shops and restaurants around.

SingaporeThe room faces the courtyard, meaning there is no view from the window other than the walls. There is no safe inside the room. I have to leave my valuables at the reception. At least we need one in the guest room. Though we cannot complain as it is the standard in Tokyo, the room is a bit too squishy - struggling to store my stuffs even for one night. Breakfast is too pricey. The restaurant, according to the hotel, is French influenced but the cost of JPY4k per person is insane although we enjoy weak JPY this time. Even in Ginza district you can enjoy a great dinner with the same cost.
Location, location, location. The hotel is perfectly situated in Ginza District, very convenient to do anything including shopping and wine & dining, a subway station is also there within 30 sec walk. It is squishy but cozy inside the building with Art Deco-ish interiors at the public spaces.

IsraelThe rooms are relatively small, adequate but small, the meals are expensive even compared to the restaurants in the area.
The hotel is located in a central location and accessible to many subway lines, the rooms are clean, there are restaurants at all price levels around the hotel and several supermarkets for those who need it.

Excellent place to explore Ginza and surroundings. Close to the main shopping district, fish market,... Nice restaurants all around. Easy access to all Metro and short walk to the Tokyo Station. Breakfast - "European style" and also "Japanese" - very tasty, fresh - all you need to start into the day. VERY good coffee (important for runners :-))

GuamThe bed was a little stiff than what I am used to but nothing of a huge issue. Other than that, nothing else I can think of.
Breakfast was amazing and the location was perfect for what was planned. The staff were super patient and accommodating. What was appreciated the most was the upkeep of the rooms! Would definitely book there again.

AustraliaThere was nothing I did not like.
Location, room size was good and clever (e.g. the bed sits high enough off the ground to stash your suitcase underneath), bed comfortable, free PJs in lovely soft cotton, amazing shower pressure! It was all I needed from a hotel. Great value for money.

AustraliaWhile it was one of the bigger rooms we could find in the Ginza area, the rooms were too small for tall people with large suitcases. And while the staff were polite & friendly, they could’ve been more helpful. We don’t speak any Japanese, and my husband is allergic to seafood, so we were relying on the hotel to assist us with restaurant bookings. Unfortunately this isn’t something they do, so we struggled to find places to eat nearby. We did manage to walk into Bills (Bill Grainger’s restaurant) for breakfast on our last morning. Being an Aussie chef, the website was in English so we knew he was on the 12th floor - hard to find but worth the trip. I suspect many of the best restaurants were in elevated positions - thus we couldn’t see from street level. And if you do find good one with an English menu on their website, when you click thru to book a table, the majority of the booking forms are in hiragana. This wasn’t a Ginza-specific problem but it was made worse by not having people to help us. We also struggled to find any bars nearby. When we asked for one, we were sent us to a place many kms away. We did end up finding one ourselves, just down the road - a nautical themed pub… It wasn’t great, but it was better than nothing. Unless you’re into high-end designer shopping, there are better locations with bigger rooms that cost less. There’s great shopping in Shibuya & Harajuku… and we loved staying in Asakusa.
Comfy beds, decent bathroom, and good location for high-end shopping and access to Tokyo Station (the latter of which was our priority).
