Less than a 3-minute walk from Higashi-Kitazawa (東北澤) station, and the main station of this area, Shimokitazawa (下北澤), is also within a 10-minute walk. The place is simple but sweet and convenient. Coin laundry machines are available until 10 pm, and there's also a water dispenser. You can borrow 3 tapes at the counter and play them on the vinyl recorder in each room.

The room are simple and small but we really enjoyed the vibe and neighbourhood. We did stay in shinkuku in higher end place but the overall vibe and experience was not as great. The lobby / cafe and the neighbourhood really make it a a great base to enjoy Tokyo

It felt too minimalistic at times. There is no decoration on the walls anywhere not even in your room. I feel like its a missed opportunity not to have some international or local artists on the walls for decoration. Even my old student dormitory building had more pictures than this.

Really cool and minimalistic hotel. Super nice bar linked to the hotel, I recommend checking it out. I liked the option of borrowing vinyl records to play in your room.

The rooms were a bit empty, i did not like the bed was on the wall on one side. But it was clean and there was enough space for our stuff

Small rooms and bathrooms. Very clean and a good bed though. Early check-out (10 AM). No gym. Breakfast is a coffee and a bagel with some spread form the Sidewalk Coffee shop.

Nothing, we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy and cool hotel in a great neighbourhood of Tokyo. Having the cafe on the ground floor is great, you can just grab a good coffee or have a bite to eat. There is also a bar where you can have a cocktail. Moreover, the staff is also very friendly, helps whenever needed and gives great tips. Lauren, in particular, was wonderful and helped us promptly with all our requests.

The aircon was super loud, and the room (ground floor) wasn’t really dark despite curtains. I’m a bit of a fuzzy sleeper so that did bother me a bit - but probably not a problem for the average sleeper.

Great place. Love that you have a record player instead of a TV in the room.

The vinyls were old and not in a good quality sometimes. I think that vinyl library there is just marketing. There are no new albums as well. So, don’t book this place because of that :)

The property is definitely a bit tired and in need of a new paint job. Didn’t like the feel of having a stained carpeted room. Would have been preferable and felt cleaner to have floor boards in rooms.

This is a great hotel, fantastic position, great young helpful and friendly staff who spoke great english. Great design. Very comfy beds in tiny room with openable windows for fresh air. Loved the pj’s they give you to wear, shame you couldn’t purchase them.

Nothing really. Would have liked a bathtub as a bonus but the current bathroom was good.

The location is amazing, close to the metro, cafes, restaurants. The staff was really nice and I liked that you can borrow vinyls to listen to in your room. The hotel is also very quiet which is always important for me.
