Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandWould have liked a better choice for breakfast. More choice in eggs than scrambled which tended not to be hot. Also more cereal choices. Wider selection at lunch time.
The house keeping staff did a great job on the rooms every day. Reception staff were really helpful.

IsraelBreakfast buffet was open until 09:30, late nights meant that we were a little bit rushed.
The staff were very accommodating. Front desk spoke great English, and helped us with extra towels and linens, housekeeping, lending umbrellas etc We came with our toddler and everyone was patient and helpful. The bed is not large but we are used to co-sleeping with toddler, so take note if this is an issue. We were able to do coin laundry and breakfast was also varied - a mix of western and Japanese style. The room is smallish of course but we were able to keep a large suitcase + trolley bag open at the foot of the bed, feed our baby on the non carpeted entrance of the room when needed, and the bath was big and amenities were luxurious. 711 under the hotel was also very useful for snacks and late night extras. 5 minute walk to the station for the Chidoya line connecting to wherever we needed.

United Arab EmiratesAlthough they had a small gym , there was no swimming pool or sauna area, which would have been nice too. And cleaning only every 4 days.
Nice location, close to metro stations, 7eleven shop downstairs, near many restaurants and other supermarkets. Clean rooms in a quiet location!

United KingdomThe room itself was quite small — really just a place to sleep. There wasn’t much space to sit down or stretch out comfortably, so if you’re looking for a room to relax in during the day, this might not be the best fit. However, it was very clean, and I appreciated that the room included a bath, which added a nice touch of comfort.
I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The standout feature is undoubtedly the excellent location — with four metro stations within walking distance, including Akasaka Station just five minutes away. This made it incredibly easy to get around Tokyo and beyond, especially with quick access to Tokyo JR Station via metro. The hotel staff were courteous and professional throughout my stay. The breakfast wasn’t anything special, but it served its purpose and was a convenient start to the day. One of the major conveniences was having a 7-Eleven located within the building — you can simply take the elevator down and step right into the store, which is a big plus. There’s also a Lawson nearby and plenty of dining options in the surrounding area, including a McDonald’s just a few minutes’ walk away. Despite the compact room, the location and convenience make this hotel a great base for exploring Tokyo. I would definitely stay here again.

Hong KongBare-bones fitness center. It has two treadmills, a bike, and an elliptical machine, plus some free weights - I believe the heaviest is about 5kg, though.
Quiet location. Friendly staff. Both traditional *and* ergonomic foam pillows - it's the first time I encounter the latter in Japan. Easy access from public transportation (although don't trust Apple Maps if you are carrying large suitcases). Finally, a great "creative Japanese" restaurant just around the corner, with some interesting sake and wine selections (they won't speak English but will accommodate you with the set menu)

JapanNothing particularly. The 4th floor smelled of smoke a lot so I asked to change room and they moved me to the 12th which was much better.

AustraliaBreakfast downstairs was okay but the bacon was kind of off putting (mainly because it wasn't "western" bacon but it's to be expected from most Asian countries so I'm not upset, just mildly disappointed).
The place as a whole was very well kept and tidy with a very modernist yet slightly retro aesthetic, the implementations of plant life and well thought water features was a nice touch too. The room was well kept, moderately spacious for a single booking and the sheer amount of room light control was very nice. The water pressure was great and the bathtub was a good size as well. As for location? If you're a fan of jazz clubs, there is literally one right outside the hotel and another about 2 minutes away by walk (both very good)!

GermanySome rooms don't smell as fresh and clean as others. There should be more air circulation when nobody's in the room, i.e. when the AC is off.
This was our 3rd short stay at this hotel. Akasaka is a nice area as a base for exploring Tokyo, as it is quite close to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, etc. We were looking for a clean hotel with metro stations in walking distance, a (small) gym, and reasonably priced. Can't really go wrong about this hotel when you have these criteria. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and fluent in English.
