Kindaoutdated style but I think that’s the charm of this hotel.

It’s near the Metro station. They provide toiletries, bath robes and towels daily and with complimentary bottled water and coffee everyday. The ease of checking in and out. It’s quiet at night and it’s just a few minutes walk to Dotonbori. There is a nearby family mart. They have floors for females only which is great for a solo traveler like me. The staffs are nice and very polite.

The only thing to improve is to add humidifiers to the rooms. It was too dry to the point you start coughing all the time.

Location is great, easy to find, very nice clean room. A lot of amenities for women.

the complementary “breakfast” was a nice gesture, but guests must be reminded that it’s only pastries soup and beverage.

The tv was an old one, it would be fine if it would be a smart tv to shared screen of my phone to watch Netflix or YouTube, for example. From breakfast, the scrambled eggs were cold.

The staff was very nice, everything very clean. The installations are not new, but it was everything clean, comfortable and the goodies all excellent. The entrance is so cool. The breakfast has very varied and tasty food. I love the cups to go for hot beverages.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Seems like they have issues with showers setting off fire alarms. The fire alarm went off during at 4am one night and the entire hotel had to evacuate the building on a false alarm.

One of the hotel staff is very stubborn, he told me that my booking was cancelled and told me to deal with booking.com myself since they have had a lot of problem dealing with this app. I had to waste many hours calling booking.com customer service and wait and keep asking both parties what was going on. And it turn out that the hotel staff checked the wrong booking even though I had shown him the booking confirmation number many times. This ruined my plan on that day and cost me telephone bill. No free call for customer service.

The room, although it was a good size, had a very bad smell, like humidity. Breakfast is not good, few options for Westerners despite being a tourist city.

Excellent location, price, staff, 2 min from Midosuji line for Shinsaibashi station and walking distance from Namba too. Sunil from Nepal in reception was very helpful, as were the other staff as well.

The wifi was close to non existent. I had a few meetings during my stay there and they were disrupted. I couldn't even use my phone half the time. The room was also nothing like the pictures. I think booking.com needs to vet some these places better. This is my first ever comment about anything negative in an accomodation but I was really really displeased with my stay there.

i think it needs renovation. among the hotels i’ve stayed around the area, this is definitely the oldest. the water pressure on the toilet sink is too low that i could barely brush my teeth. water leaked when i switch it on maximum.

The bed was a bit hard and one could feel the springs of the mattress. That is the only thing, otherwise it was perfect!
