Room was quite tight, basically a small slot with two bunk beds (as in photos) - but comfortable and clean!

Piece hostel was clean well equipped. Kitchen was well outfitted, with free coffee and tea. Terrace and back garden were nice touches.

They upgraded my dorm booking to a private room. Biggest gift for a backpacker :) nice and clean hostel, really nice vibe and staff and lovely showers. No noise from other rooms etc. Also really close to Kyoto station.

Rooms themselves were small, not much space.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great, near the train station. Shower rooms are downstairs (lots of them), and powder room. Great, open communal space. It was nice to spend time there with others. The hostel ran activities for guests to join in on some nights and socialise with one another, that was a nice gesture.

The staff were incredibly friendly and fun to talk with. Everything about the layout of the rooms, common area and the location was very convenient and comfortable! There were also weekly events which I wasn't aware of which made it even cooler!

There are showers just at the first floor, the people who stay in the other floors have to come to the first floor to have a shower.

Common space is modern and inviting to interact with other travelers. Coffee is a big detail. Comfy beds, nice personal, everything is clean an modern, close to Kyoto station. Luggage storage is controlled by the stuff.

On the upper beds there was a pipe to prevent one from falling when sleeping. The thing is that this is not screwed to the bed and when I was climbing to the bed I grabbed this pipe thinking it was like the pipe on the left to help you climb but no. The right pipe moved and I lost my equilibrium. I didn’t fall but yikes, it scared me.

The hostel reception looked like a hotel!! I was really impressed by it. It was very spacious and with a touch of luxury in my opinion. Potable water and tea available anytime. Many tables to eat, work and 3 macs to use. Showers were really nice, they came with a shelf and a small bin above so you don’t lose small objects, and also a hanger for the towel. (Just the things that I asked another hostel to add because I almost lost my ring). Spacious, the products to shower were nice. The hair dryer bathrooms had chairs (oh la la). The bedroom had free spacious lockers, enough for my big backpack (big sized urban one). The bed was super comfy!! The day before I was at another hostel they had very uncomfortable beds, so much that I woke up without being able to move because of a back-pain (I have back-pain issues but they were under control). The stairs to get to my bed had a handle to help you climb and it came really handy as I always fear of falling.

This Hostel is a gem! Staff was very nice and everything was pretty clean! They have cool activities every few days to parttake in and a nice lounge area with plenty of tips for the city on display too. I hope to come back!

There was this bean bag in my room and I think it has bugs on it, I got tons of bug bites that are so itchy. Hopefully the staff got rid of it. But the beds were absolutely clean!

The staff we're very friendly and accomodating. The facilities were clean and comfortable and lovely! They even give free unlimited tea and coffee. The rooms were also clean and the location is very convenient, it's like 3-5 mins walk from Kyoto station.

Nothing really. Just keep in mind that the location is the south side of Kyoto Station, so you will be walking through the station building a number of times to get around.

Nice quiet hostel, very comfortable bed, lots of showers. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I was expecting there to be some discomfort in sharing accommodation with other people. In this hostel, that was not the case. It was pretty much frictionless. Not a very social place, but I didn't need it to be. I had a great night's sleep every night.

The staff is super responsive. Loved the way they told me information that I found lacking in many hostels in other cities. Almost next to Kyoto station, what else can you ask for!

The dryers don't work so well. My advice is to split your clothes up and use the electric dryers for 30 mins. You'll spend much more with the gas dryer.

THE BEDS ARE LIKE FLUFFY PILLOWS. It's so comfortable here. The facilities are very clean. The lobby also has a sake bar for 500¥. There is laundry outside and they have separate shower facilities. Our shoes were wet after a lot of rain so they had shoe dryers for you. If you're looking for a hostel in Kyoto, stay here.
