Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The massage chair in the room is perfect for after a days walking around Tokyo. The hotel is clean modern and perfectly located near Akihabara station.

Australianothing really, fairly priced, helpful, well appointed, clean, olny (barely an issue) one of the lifts only goes to the 6th floor (where reception is) meaning you have to swap lifts on the way down, not a real issue but if I had to nit pick, itd be that,
great place to stay as a a tourist, the locaton is literally next to the station with about 3-4 lines coming through there making it easy to get around all of tokyo. the hotel staff were always willing to help and accommodating. room was clean and my view of the station was a great experience as it was the first time i was in japan it was cool to just watch the trains and people coming and going. centrally located for the area with access to the station, shops, 711's and the akihabara area itself with a 1 minute walk. not to mention all the bars and restaurants. I stayed 6 nights and didnt need any room servicing, but after 4 days the staff told me my room HAD to be cleaned. that was fine its just odd as Id never seen this before. spoken to friends this is normal for japan just odd as a westerner. by western standards the room is small, i travelled alone so i didnt have an issue, but two adults with large suitcases, you may have an issue with where to put your luggage. but a bit of tetrising and youll be fine.

NorwayThe self check in is pointless but this was the same everywhere in Japan. I'm not a fan of the glass walked bathroom but we appreciated the curtain for privacy. It doesn't block the light of someone uses the bathroom in the night though.
Great location just outside the train station in Akihabara, lots of izakaya places around for affordable dining and a karaoke place across the road for entertainment 😁 Clean hotel with minimal fuss, we had a great stay.

SingaporeLighting in the room was cool white which was not very inviting. Would have preferred warmer lighting. Sometimes you need to take 2 lifts to get to your room (one to the lobby, and then another to a higher floor) which was a bit inconvenient.
Great location, right beside Akihabara station. Many many food options around. Convenience stores like 7-11 within a few minutes walk.

AustraliaThe location was excellent, right above Akihabara station, with plenty of eateries and facilities right below. It could be a little noisy at times due to the train station, but that's to be expected. You could also hear when other guests were using the bathroom. The room was tiny for one person, even for a typical Japanese-sized room. The view and rainfall shower were the highlight of the room. Staff were also accommodating when checking me in as I was half asleep.

IrelandTidy and neat room, it is pretty small though with our huge suitcases. Really good location, right next to the station and Lawson below, lots of great places to eat right nearby. Try some of the choux cream puffs from beard papa's in the walkway next to Yodobashi, they are so yummy! Staff were helpful and polite when we had problems with automatic check-in. The view of Akihabara from our window was good. We could hear the trains going by, which we didn't mind (I think the sounds of the city are exciting) but if you are sensitive to noise and go to bed early this might be something to consider. Also there are some amenities to take (toothbrush/razor) on the reception floor but we didn't find that info (written in the elevator noticeboard) until the last day ^^'

AustraliaCarpet in our room was torn in a couple of places which is strange because it could have been patched up ie without replacing the whole lot. The rest of the room was spot on. A couple of staff seemed reluctant to help us book a restaurant (the restaurant booking request was a one-off)
Excellent location with great rail connections. Who wouldn’t like a massage chair in their room?! Or room (top floor, twin room, 23m2) had a wonderful outlook. Bathroom was modern and chic and showering with a view of the lights of Akihabara was enjoyable.

PhilippinesThis is not a negative point but could be an improvement - the space below the bed could've been hollow to be utilized as additional storage space for luggage.
The main selling point of this hotel is that it's literally beside Akihabara station, which is considered a major station with so many lines that can be accessed, meaning it's easier to get around. There's a Lawson on the ground floor of the building and a Family Mart on the other side of the road. Since you're also at the heart of Akihabara, otakus can explore the anime and manga mecca with minimal worry. The size of the room is relatively small as expected with most hotels in Tokyo, but cozy and well-furnished. There were no problems with the AC, shower, and toilet - beds were very comfortable too. I never thought that I would be using the free massage chair in the room but alas I kept using it nightly and I fell in love with it! The check-in and check-out process is also easy, in fact, we just did a self-check-out and there were absolutely no problems. We will definitely consider remm when stay at Tokyo again.

United KingdomI really didn’t like how the vents were still blowing in hot air despite me leaving the AC off. Mattress is more so catered towards Japanese people (which is absolutely fine). But as a Westerner, the mattress was too flat for me. With the hot air and uncomfortable mattress. I really struggled to sleep during my 4 nights there.
Ridiculously cheap. Incredible location. Right next to the train station and super close to Electric Town. Modern, minimalist, clean hotel. Great view. Powerful overhead shower, with a spacious shower.
