Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. Smaller rooms but normal in Japan
Very modern and clean design of the rooms and interior. Breakfast was very Japanese and tasted great for us to try as foreigners. Staff was helpful and friendly as we could store luggage beforehand.

The double bed was a bit small for two people! It can be an issue if you are tall.
Ideally situated next to the train station, the hotel is very clean and everything seems brand new. The staff is helpful. We had a nice view on Mount Iwate from our bedroom!

Nothing really.
The hotel is located just opposite the JR station, and there is a convenience store on the 1st floor. The room was spacious and well equipped. And it was very quiet during the night so we had very good sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Easy to get from station to hotel. Do need to use an underground walkway which means there is some stairs Close to a variety of food places

Breakfast was mostly japanese style and not as many continental/european choices available.
Well sized room for japanese standards (Twin double room). Very comfortable huge sized beds! Not too soft, not too hard. Great location just across the main entrance of the station building.

1) Probably an oversight but they missed out on giving us a set of towel and slippers when there were 2pax staying in the room. This was quickly rectified after we informed them

Lights in the room were a little confusing coming from the US.

I liked that Richmond Hotel Morioka was so close to the station and that there is a Toyota Rent-a-car almost next door. There is a daily breakfast with a lot of variety. The location is close to many of the key sights. The hotel is clean and the rooms are well appointed. The staff are very professional. Best place to stay in Morioka.

The hotel is opposite the train station. A lot of restaurants near by. The room was very comfortable. In the afternoon they serve free drinks and snacks. A seven eleven is linked to the hotel. Near by is a parking lot. We used the good laundry machine . We enjoyed very much our stay in this hotel

Not a complaint per se, but I would have loved it if there were a public bath on site.
The location is immediately opposite the entry to the train station and is very convenient. Room was spacious and well-designed. Very clean and staff was excellent. I would stay here again.

They offer buffet breakfast, but the amount of the food served on serving platters is so small, that it is enough for one or two people, so you have to constantly ask stuff to refill it, especially for couples or if you want to take more than 2-3 bites of a specific food item. And the same is happening no matter the time you come for breakfast. After few asks you start to feel like bagger, for the food that you have paid! They do not have enough tables in the restaurant to host all the hotel guests at the rush hour, so be prepared to wait in the line for 15-20 mins for the table. The reception staff is not of much help if you need assistance with anything else besides regular things like check ins and check outs. Only one lady at reception speaks English.
