My stay at this hotel was delightful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Although not situated near the ski resort, their convenient pick-up service made transportation hassle-free. The room, while not overly spacious, was well-equipped with everything needed for a cozy stay. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight, offering a satisfying start to the day. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to others seeking a welcoming atmosphere and convenient amenities.

The only negative was the heating in the pod is A/C so all the time you have hot air drying the air out all day all night.

We liked just about everything at this property the people were helpful and friendly would go out of their way to help it was clean and well looked after.

I would highly recommend the Rusutsu Pension Clydesdale to anyone who is planning on visiting the area for a few days and wants a true locals experience for a very reasonable rate. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They keep this place incredibly clean and well kept. Oh and the food was so good!

We stayed in a normal room as all the snow domes were booked out. Super friendly and helpful staff, who even went out of their way to taxi is around for a dinner reservation in town. Great, very clean rooms and hotel. Free water and hot drinks available.

Given the location, the pause in the shuttle service in the middle of the day is quite long. A free hot tea service in the main building or something for people who are not carrying all their full supplies might be nice.

The trailer house was great for a family. The Italian dinner was wonderful (although quite expensive compared with some dinner options in the village).

Breakfast is yummy but strictly served at 7.30am and you must go to the dining room. There is no option to have breakfast in the Snow Pod, or grab it from the dining room and take it back to the Pod, so bad luck if you or someone in your group, such as kids, feel like a sleep in. The property is just a touch too far from the main resort, shops and ski lifts to be able to comfortably walk, especially with ski gear or in bad weather, so the shuttle is essential, you just need to be mindful of its operating hours.

The Snow Pods are fun, roomy and comfortable, although the main sleeping area could use a dimmer switch for the lights as they are very bright, alternatively some bedside lamps would be helpful. The shuttle service is very responsive, although not available between 10am-3pm, or after 9.30pm.

Smart TV in the room where you can connect you phone via mirror through the free wifi. Lounge area to seat after skiing to meet other guest. But most hotels don't have space for this lounge area so it was expected.

Super easy to get to and from the ski slope with complementry shuttle service, just call and they would pick you up within 5 minutes. Awesome breakfast and dinner. Good size room with Loft. Shared facities were great and clean.

Clydesdale provided a warm sense of hospitality. All needs were met with a smile and a desire to please. Mori was a wonderful host and we love Jim. I will love to come back and see Jim.

It would be nice to have a pick-up shuttle in the middle of the day incase you only wanted to ski half a day.

Jin was amazing always 10min early to pick us or drop us off, really helpful and friendly. The shuttle bus service was easy to use to get around the village. The cooking facilities were basic but we were able to have breakfast and a few dinners in the dome pods. Was a fantastic experience would definitely do it again.

It was all great. It was a little hot in our room at one point but Mor-san immediately attended to it.

Clysedale exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the trailer house and loved the privay, comfy beds, kitchen facilities and the washing machine. Clysedale is set in the forest but just a two or three minute drive from the slopes. We were able to request a shuttle whebnever we needed it, which made this stay very convenient.

From the moment we arrived, the staff we’re so welcoming. The mobile home was very comfortable, clean, warm and cosy with washing machine/dryer and kitchen. Breakfast is served in the dining room of the main house, only steps away from mobile home. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We chose to eat at the pension one night, dinner was seven courses and very tasty all delivered with amazing service. The pension runs a shuttle service to the main resort which was like a personal service, we only had to message them and they arrived within 5 minutes. I highly recommend this quaint pension which is literally a 2 minute drive to the main resort. The staff were so polite and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. When we checked out, the all came out the front and waved us goodbye! Such amazing service. We will definitely return.
