Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaStayed with family with bed sharing and we find the extra towels for our kids taken away daily and we end up needing to take it daily from the reception. Would have been great if room service keep tracks of number of guest per room and match with the same number of towels during replacement.
Great location. Love the lounge. Staff were helpful and assisted with restaurant bookings.

JapanPhone to the hotel as I found out later is "Charged" like whatever for every 20 sec or so... Never came across with a service provider charging to RECEIVE a call fro a customer...
I liked the place being accessible from the underground directly. Here, it's summer so it doesn't really matter, but in winter in snow... it would be sooooo good.

ThailandNothing.
Best hotel ever! It was our 2nd time choosing to stay at this hotel. The hotel located right on shopping street (on ground and underground shopping street) that easily walk to any attractive spots in Sapporo. Tram station is in front of you! We are family with 2 kids. It is very safe for family. I booked twin 4 ft bed and attached them to make 8ft bed for 4 of us. Staff were really helpful. Thank you Peem and all Thai and other staff for your service. I will stay here again for sure!

France- The bed pillows were a bit too hard for our taste. - Only two lifts for 12 floors, which often resulted in long waits. - Breakfast: The main dish was excellent but not very filling and there was not enough variety at the (small) buffet. We did not like the scrambled eggs and the coffee at all (and no way to change the coffee intensity).
Great hotel overall, rather newish and modern, very central and conveniently located. Staff was nice and very efficient. The breakfast and bar space is really nice and the room rate includes free drinks.

CanadaWe didn't like how the bathroom door opened the 'wrong way'. They were running an event where you exchanged coins for things at their evening bar area which seemed convoluted.
Clean, good location, good air conditioning, nice cafe lounge area.

PhilippinesThe hotel reception is at the 2nd floor, the elevator has to stop at the 2nd floor every time you go up every time. I think it is for security and access to the reception. The elevator is a bit sluggish since it has to speak in Japanese and English before closing the doors. Minor issue
The location of the hotel was awesome. We could go anywhere even it was raining because it had direct access to the underground walkways/subway. the hotel was situated near a convenience store, Mega Donki, coffee shop, shopping street and public transportation. They have their own bar ever you are given tokens for free to have some drinks. The rooms where decent in size compared to others we've stayed in for the same rate. I will book his hotel when I return.

It's nice that I could walked to the hotel via underground shopping district everytime after I have done shopping to avoid the heat on the ground during the summer. The room is super nice, modern and clean. Happy to see that they provide water bottles everyday.

PhilippinesThe lift always stops at the 2nd floor even if no one is using it there. They give you some tokens which can be redeemed but only at certain time so you probably won't use it during your stay.
The location was very convenient. You can walk to different malls from the underground walkway connected to the hotel.

United StatesThe only thing I can say that was slightly annoying was that the hallways were super humid and the shower curtain wasn’t quite big enough so water always leaked out and got the bathroom wet.
The rooms were larger than normal for what I am used to in Japan. They were very clean. They give lots of tokens at check in for the bar, and they have options for kids as well. The breakfast was fantastic. The shower had great water pressure. The AC was phenomenal and the room stayed cold.

MalaysiaNot enough cabinet or storage area for me to store my thing, the tables are small, the wardrobe no other compartment to put thing, probably they want to make the design simple so the cleaner has less clean up. I stayed for 3 nights and basically there is no room cleaning by the hotel which is okay for me, they just changed towel and replenish some of the room amenities. I need coffee in the morning, the KNOT hour is not practical because i cannot "buy" any coffee in the morning using KNOT coin. KNOT hours from 4pm to 11pm. I stayed in other hotels as well in Hokkaido, that's why i can said this business model is not going to sustain long because the other hotels are providing drip coffee bag or free flow coffee in the concierge area, later or sooner may not be able to compete with other hotels. Do i want to come back to this hotel? Probably NO, not because they are not good, just the surrounding areas has many hotels i can explore. As said, gimmick is just a shot, sustainability is for long term. KNOT did provides a good coffee, it's a waste that the hotel cannot provide free coffee/drinking water at the concierge area, which i think this is a very basic requirement to attract your guest.
Location is at the central, connected with Pole Town, and many shopping areas. Room is clean, i booked a room for 2 adults & 2 kids for 3 days, everyday the cleaner came to change the towel, but everytime they only changed 2 towels and took the 4 towels away from the bathroom, thus I have to go down everyday to concierge request for additional 2.
