I really like a firm mattress, but these beds were uncomfortably hard. You could hear the wood creaking when you moved. The air con was very loud, slow to cool down and emitted a very bright green light which made the room quite bright at night. This made it the least comfortable night's sleep out of 8 hotels we stayed in in Japan (and much less comfortable than another hotel in Ginza we stayed in on the same trip that cost the same when booked in advance). Also worth noting that if you book a twin room, the beds will in fact be pushed together so it's more like having a double bed, and almost no room to push them apart.

Good location, clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful despite having to communicate through a translation app (staff in other hotels in Japan at similar prices spoke great English). For Tokyo, the room was not too small - appreciated having a full bathroom and some space to store belongings.

The reception staff is very slow and inefficient. The breakfast is very basic with very limited options. They don’t offer early check-in more than 1-2h and they don’t allow use of any hotel facilities before check-in; after arriving at 8am following 25h + traveling, I was forced to walk around until 2pm.

Great value for money, very clean and modern. Small but clean onsen. Very well connected, 2 to 10 mins walk to both the Shinkansen, main train station, and to a variety of metro stops.

Walking distance to the Imperial Palace, the Hop On Hop Off bus, Tokyo train station. Room was clean, massive bathroom, Onsen on another floor, breakfast Japanese style [no continental], check in 3pm but accepted luggage before that time at reception. Irish pub around the corner.

When we first arrived (from a slightly larger room and lighter decorated interior from our stay in Osaka) we were feeling cramped in the room and felt it was not fully clean due to fingerprints on the room tablet and a few hairs (I think the room is too small to deep clean properly). However, we put the full clean sign on the next morning and have no complaints after that, clean beds and towels when requested and clean room, done well for our stay. We were comfortable with 3 cases in the room and adjusted to the size well. The location and staff and facilities made it a pleasant trip.

Location perfect as a base to explore the wider Tokyo via the subway system and close to trains too. Nice clean area with shops, restaurants and convince stores. Room was small as expected in Tokyo but manageable, cleaned as requested and comfortable, we would stay here again. The shower was nice and hot and powerful, fridge, hairdryer and air conditioning worked well, bed hard and comfortable for us. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Minor issues of initial cleanliness; still exceeded typical North American standard but not quite up to extraordinary standards seen elsewhere in Japan.

Public baths were great. View was good. Room was efficient, very compact. Self-serve breakfast buffet was high quality; would have loved an espresso machine to be available.

Need a few more washing machines, we tried a couple of times to use them and only managed to get one by rushing down there at 6am! Gym room was small, very hot and treadmill didn't work but there was enough space to do burpees etc so was ok.

The hotel was in a great location within walking distance of Tokyo station and 2 subway lines. The staff were very helpful. The room was well laid out so we had plenty of room for our 2 suitcases. Beds were firm but big. Breakfast was the same each day but had lots of fresh fruit options and was tasty.

the window opened very wide on 14th floor. this isn’t legal in the uk and I found it very dangerous, especially with young children!

the Onsen was small but a nice bonus, well kept and great Dyson hairdryers. the rooms were also small but very nice and exceptionally clean

We stayed 6 nights and there's nothing to complain about. The room was a little small but first of all we chose to stay in a smaller room and second it had everything we needed. We were able to store all of our clothes in the drawer under the bed. The rooms were super clean and the bed was comfortable.

Room can be a bit small for 2 big luggages, the blinds can’t fully cover sunlight and the person sleeping near the windows will keep hitting the blinds producing sound that’s annoying. The design of the bed means the person sleeping inside have to climb on the bed to get in. Walls are pretty thin too…I could hear my neighbours showering.

It is quite near to some of the metro stations. Comes with public onsen (dyson hairdryers too!). Room is cosy and comfortable.
