Facilities: When we used the laundromat, the detergent was non existent, our clothes came out more smelling. Room: The pillows were not comfortable. The step to the toilet was high (especially if somebody is not mobile). There was a light at the ceiling which was on the whole time, making it hard to fall asleep. There was space under the door, because of this you could hear everything and everyone in the hallway, which made the room noisy. Small TV.

Facilities outside the hotel: Train stations were within walking distance, the convenience store was across the road, Facilities in the hotel: the vending machines were nice, the microwave that everyone could use, the laundromat. The possibility of having breakfast, lunch or dinner in the restaurant. The service of sending your suitcases ahead to your next hotel. The staff was really nice, even with their limited English.

I didn't like the bidet in our room.. we stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days.. our first day is good but the 2nd day the bidet works but suddenly stops without doing anything.. and on our 3rd day it only works fine once but the succeeding use, it is not working..

I like the property because its walking distance to fushimi inari and we are able to go there early.. about 12-15mins walk i think.. we arrive there before the area becomes crowded.. plus it is also walking distance to station.

The hotel is right near the police academy, and since it's new years, the sirens were heard everyday at some point. Nothing to do about it, but my elderly father got really concerned about the non-stop police signals around the block. Also the rooms are pretty small, which also cannot be helped, so travelers should be ready for it.

The place is near the Inari shrine and the Nara-line trains. Lots of different food places around. Clean, good value for money.

Very thin walls. You could hear guests and employees talking loudly all evening and morning. Which sometimes made it hard to sleep

Not a convenient location if you are coming by subway from Kyoto Station. Plenty of walking.

Good staff, restaurant with breakfast and lunch with à la carte after 3:00pm/15:00. Staff was helpful, and there were washing/drying machines for clothing on two floors with the ability to check the status from the television. 24 hour Convenience Store nearby.

The building might be missed (guess depend on which direction to come from; especially first time).

There is a convenient store opposite the hotel and food places nearby. There is a bus stop near the hotel (1-2min). Walkable distance to the attractions (15-20 min).

great location, only a 10 minute walk to Inari station which allows you to get into city centre in five minutes on JR line (covered by JR Pass). 10 minute walk to Fushimi Inari shrine was great too

There were people smoking on the floor I was living on. Could have been nice with separate floors for smoking but not a big issue.

Good location. Not exactly close to the city, but it's easy to get to everywhere in Kyoto from this location. And the path to the subway or train station is extremely beautiful.

Cannot think of any negatives. Was only there a couple of days.

Location from the closest was great and not far from the Fushimi Inari Tanisha, which is especially great if you want to visit at night or early morning to avoid the crowds. Overall area was pretty quiet and the was a retro game shop across the street.
