Great location, very peaceful and beautiful area but still close to the chaos of shinjuku, well connected. The appartment was clean and comfortable with strong ac and the owner was great, very kind and he took us from and to the station which was very helpful

The host was fantastic and picked us up from the train station. He was very lovely and showed us the local sites as we drove from the station. The apartment is spacious and clean and very easy to access key attractions from. It is a great place to stay if you would like a traditional Japanese experience. 10/10 and would stay there again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Having just arrived in another country for the first time, my sibling and I felt a little overwhelmed. That's why we were so appreciative of our host for offering to drive us from the station to the accommodation. He gave us an explanation of nearby restaurants and grocery stores and walked us through everything that was provided in the apartment itself. The inside was clean and a perfectly acceptable size. The walks to Okubo and Shin-Okubo station are easy, with plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, and vending machines along the way. For being in Shinjuku, the area has a lot of foot traffic, but it was never too crowded and never felt unsafe. My sibling and I ended up having a great stay. If I ever come back to visit Japan, I'd love to stay here again. The host's hospitality was genuine, and it put us at ease in a way we won't forget.

Great location. Very close to shin okubo station which made it easy to transfer to all over Tokyo. Host was very receptive to messages and allowed us to check in two hours early which was very needed after our long flight and jet lag setting in.

The host was super friendly and willing to help with anything. It is an actual apartment fully equipped with all the necessary ( microwave, stove, washing machine etc). It is well-decorated and comfy.

Our stay at the apartment was perfect. The room is charming, clean and comfortable. It has everything you could need from cooking facilities to clothes washing facilities. The location is great for exploring Shinjuku and close to Okubo Station. The host was extremely accommodating and friendly; he collected a parcel sent from the airport, stayed up to show us round after a delay at the airport and dropped us off at the subway when we were moving on (he also provided a water and a coffee which was appreciated on a 7am start). Couldn’t recommend more if you want a home away from home in Tokyo!

Sleeping on the floor is obviously traditional of a Ryokan in Japan, we're not really used to it coming from the UK so it is not a complaint at all. Just be aware that you will be sleeping on a thin mattress. Nothing to dislike.

The host was so helpful! He had offered to pick us up but we decided to walk, should have had a lift as we got lost (our fault). He met us at the property and showed us everything in the apartment (using google translate as didn't speak English). The apartment was very compact but had everything we needed including a washing machine which was really useful. We were out during the day so didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment so it didn't matter that it was quite small. When we left the host gave us a lift to Shinjuku main station, he was so helpful, he offered us drinks etc, really lovely guy.

Wonderful hosts, very kind and helpful. Provided a free shuttle service to the location and back to the station. The room itself is very comfortable with everything I needed. If you want a taste of what it's like to actually live in an apartment in Tokyo, this is it!

I wish I could stay here longer!

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful on our first stop in Japan. The host speaks Japanese and Chinese and little English. He exceeded our expectations and picked us up from outside the station. The room was perfect, had everything we needed (fridge, microwave, dryer) including a small hottub and was very clean. It was so comfortable sleeping on the futon. He dropped us off on the station and even gave us water for the onward journey!

The area was safe even when walking around at night and the garden was beautiful, with nice Christmas lights. The room was clean and cozy and really felt like home while still being an authentic Japanese experience with the traditional flooring. Loved it!

The proximity with the station, the shops and supermarket, the host was incredible and very helpful. The property is very cost as well, with everything you need for a stay (washing machine, drying rack, amenities), and the futons were really comfortable as well.
