SingaporeNeed to return room key to reception which may cause inconvenience to travel plans, though there is a number you can call if no one is at the reception but it is still a hassle if you arrive back late. Most staff do not speak good English so there may be a language barrier, especially if you run into issues when you check in or arrive back at hotel late.
Location is about 5min from Asakusabashi station, pretty convenient. Price is fairly low for the area, and room was pretty spacious and equipped with basic amenities. Can also borrow umbrella for free, which was great since it rained on my 2nd and 3rd day of stay.

Three minutes from the closest station, private Room and private bathroom for 6.000 tit is probably the best deal you can find in Tokyo. Definitely recommended

AustraliaNot a hotel issue I don't believe, but there may be some miscommunication via booking dot com. The booking was marked as two adults and two children with ages specifically noted as 14/15 as per the booking request. A single room with two large single size beds was ultimately smaller than we expected. In itself the room size is not a problem, but compared to what we probably expected given the details provided, it was a bit of a shoehorn situation. Given our fairly tight budget, we made it work. Character building is what I'm trying to tell the kids... 😂
Fabulous hosts. Convenient location and facilities. Hosts went above and beyond and offered an extra room immediately on seeing us arrive, themselves realising the room booked would be a tight fit. A bit of rain about, and they were too helpful offering umbrellas and fresh towels during our stay.

Very friendly staff who made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Rooms were cozy with surprisingly very comfortable beds and simple amenities. CanadaThe staff requested that you could not keep your own key, they seemed suspicious of me for whatever reason. I did not feel welcome and there was active construction going on in the building. The lady at the front desk told me I could not spend another night there even though it seemed like there were tons of empty rooms. It makes it seem like it is a upscale hotel but it is actually so dated and sort of run down, which I didn't care too much about as I was staying for one night

I think this hotel is unbeatable in this price range. The hotel is at a very comfortable location, with a convenience store right around the corner, a coin laundry right in front, and a train station within 5 minutes. The manager is also incredibly nice and gave me sweets.

GermanyThe non-smoking room very much smelled like someone smoke there before. Maybe it came from the ancient AC. I couldn't tell, but it was disgusting to me. Very disappointing. Sadly, also the bathroom started to smell like urine sometime after check-in. I let the fan run the whole night to combat it a bit. The bathroom itself seemed pretty clean! so it must have come from some pipe!? Sadly those two equally disgusting smells made the stay very unpleasant.
Hotel is in a good location, easy to reach, and good stay to go to Airport next day. The staff is kind and service provided is good. Luggage was stored and already brought up to my room by the time I came back for "final check-in" -- very positive. The room, as other described, is quite old, but the price is accordingly cheaper
