    Nothing.

Amazing camp right bordering the masai mara. The rooms are tents but have all the commodities and comfort of a five star hotel and an amazing view of the park, the food amazing and the staff was super attentive, attending to all my needs. If you get a chance, request the Obama tent for an extra special view.

There was a safe in our room, but the lock was missing. I notified the hostess who said she would take care of it, but no one came to give us a new lock. They tried to charge us an extra $20 for drinks we did not drink during our evening game drive. We paid $30/person for an extra lunch on our departure day, but had to pack it as we were going to visit the Masai village on our way to the airport, the packed lunch was not worth $30, maybe $7-10 at the most.

This place was just amazing!! First, great online communication from their part as far as answering questions, plus they arranged transportation from our hotel in Nairobi to Wilson airport, and had our guide wait for us at the airport in Masai Mara. Then our driver/guide "Samson" took us on a fun game drive before taking us to the basecamp which was nicely tucked in. As soon as we pulled up, 3 men welcomed us then 2 of them grabbed our luggage and we walked through a small gate, onto a wooden bridge. At the end of the bridge, we were welcomed by a beautiful woman with cold towel, then further another one with refreshing passion juices. Then then took us to the restaurant and handed us our keys and explained the rules of the basecamp to stay safe. We stayed in tent #16 "Obama tent" where former president Obama and his family stayed in in 2016. Our room was the one showcased in their ad. It was beautiful!!! The food the delicious and the staff very welcoming and helpful. Very romantic setting. We enjoyed every second of our trip at the basecamp!
