Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Wifi was poor , young girls were cleaning our rooms. They didn't seems to have any experience. It will take them five minutes to clean kitchen two bedroom and a living room. What they did : just mop and then they're gone. I had to tell them to clean the toilet in our bathroom to give us toilet paper to change our bed. It was terrible. The reason why I keep booking for this place is because it was near the mall. I was here with my family so it was easy.They don't have smart tv.

Cleaner refusing to change my bedding and my towels. The women who were washing the clothes in the morning they were very very loud by conversing in Swahili which I understood.found it very disturbing especially I was always late sleeper and I like to sleep in the morning

Mosquito nets were not provided, if we were to stay again, nets would need to be guaranteed. We were given a ripped towel on one occasion. It was tricky getting an iron. One of the sinks was leaking. One of the sofas was not supportive.
The location was ideal for our requirements. The rooms were spacious with a well equipped kitchen.

Located away from the CBD which could be a positive for some. Close to a very busy road. No hotel bar. Some of the lights didnt work.
The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable with a big balcony. Shower was hot and powerful. Kitchen came with everything you would need. Very safe and secure with 24/7 security on the gate. Excellent value for money

I will say the duvet cover took a bit of getting used to never seen one like that before but I got the hang of it.

There are some things that need to be improved in the apartment, such as small adjustments. The bathroom needs something to prevent water from falling on the floor. Some light outside the entrance because when we come in the night it was really dark.
Reception open 24/24 hrs. We pick the key on early morning (4Am). Swimming pool (little cold for me) but well organize. There is a gym but we haven't use. Elevator for going up and down with the bag.

it was not so clean, i personally slept without a pillow, because it did not seem fresh to me. We had some problems with one shower: water was not flushing good and it was only cold water (the other shower had warm water).

We were supposed to have a room facing the pool and that was not the case.. we were facing the street, so it resulted being very noisy, it was hard to sleep at night. Quite disappointing. We took showers with sandals because shower didnt feel super clean.
5 minutes walk from a mall with many shops and restaurants. Very convenient! The appartment is soooo spacious Nice pool. Safe building with gate and security 24h Restaurant is available at the building directly, not the best food and little more expansive than other restaurants around, but very helpful when you dont feel like going out!

The people upstairs were very noisy . Reported to receptionist and after about 1 hr the noise went down.
