Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainThe shower could have been a bit more powerful and warm.
The room was goodlooking and just like advertised in the pictures. The staff was polite and friendly. The food is good, we have enjoyed breakfest every morning. When we left it rained quite heavily. The security guard swiftly came to protect us from the rain with an umbrella when we are getting into the taxi, that is thoughtful and an example of great hospitality. As a guest you don´t forget such a friendly gesture.

Czech RepublicFor the money I think it is little bit overpriced. We would expect a more drinking water for that price. Also it is written in descriprion that you can pay by cash in KES but it is not true, which put us into a bad situation.
We really appreciate the staff of hotel. Everyone was really kind and try to help as much as possible. There was a trouble with hot water because sollar system did not work that day but they did the best to solve the problem.

ItalyTowels and bedsheets were old and broken, (with holes). My room had a window to a deposit and it was not possible to close the window. It was not a big deal though. Be aware is a budget hotel
It has 24h reception. It was optional of breakfast for $6. It was clean. A bottle of water available in the room. The staff is very kind. It's perfect for short stays. (Use Bolt for private transportation to airport, taxi of the hotel charges you 4x)

United StatesI'm not one to complain, but the Wi-Fi was a bit frustrating because of the spotty service, and the mattress was on the hard side leaving my back a bit sore in the morning. Other than those two issues, I give the hotel a thumbs up!
All of the staff are great, and the taxi service and guides were very efficient at helping me to navigate Nairobi as well as access to a number of the game reserves. All things considered, the hotel is a solid location for the price . . .

United KingdomYou have excellent staff who are very helpful and they are all have a smile. As one who knows a bit of body language, I can see that behind the smile... I could be right or wrong.
Breakfast, okay but not the best. Lunch or dinner is just too little (especially Ugali? Seriously?) and a bit expensive. I preferred to eat from outside rather than in the hotel. Lower the cost and increase the portion.

GreeceWhen I asked if is safe, (2) walk around [or], go (4) a walk in city centre after [7pm - 8pm]. They suggested me, (2) avoid do such thing. Probably some streets around city centre were no safe enough (4) me as nationals from other country - continent. However, I did my best, (2) go out and return after [8pm], yes. They probably were right, is not that easy. However, overall, I stayed satisfied and felt safe [100%] with my whole stay in Kahama hotel & overall with my stay in Nairobi.
My room was every day clean! [bedroom, toilet - bathroom]. No complain. The TV, some times, didn't worked well. But overall I didn't open it much! Hotel Staff [Reception, kitchen, room service], no complain/s. They did the best, (2) have the best experience while I stayed in Hotel. Breakfast & lunch I took couple times, was great! If I had some problem, I just went in reception (2) solve it! Simple as that.
