It’s a difficult property to find - the location on booking.com is a bit different to the actual location (the host has raised this with booking.com and is trying to change), this made it really difficult to locate via uber so we had a complicated journey late at night trying to find it. Carolyne was really helpful though and there is the option of her organising transport if preferred. The bathroom window had been left open when we arrived and there were lots of mosquitos! But the door to the bedroom had been kept closed and the mosquito net around the bed was good.

Comfortable bed, very friendly host. In a gated community. Not far from the airport - about 20mins - so convenient for long lay-overs.

The shared bathroom was rather small with an instant heater showerhead. Rather minimal but it worked well.

Very brief lay-over. Had to start off early in the morning. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, the room was small but adequate. It's a neat little place with all essential conveniences.

The space so little but for one night, absolutely it isn’t a problem. The accomodation is at 3 km far from airport but the round to reach it is about 13 km. There were a lot of mosquitos but maybe iIt was our fault for leaving the window open during the day.

The Host was helpful and kind. The bathroom and the room, very clean. Good price. Clean and tidy park with excellent guard and security system.

1. Directions for how to get to the property from the airport on the site meant that it was difficult for Uber and myself to figure out.

1. Staff were great - they explained everything to me on arrival and the check-in process was easy. 2. The room was very clean and met expectations. 3. The location meant that it wasn't far from the airport as I was staying for a layover. I would definitely use this again for the same purposes.

Commute to location took longer than expected (1.5 km from airport but took a 14km uber drive to get there from the airport terminal - might have been due to a road closure. Not sure about this)

Based in a gated community, felt very safe, close to the airport and staff was very friendly. Overall a modest establishment which was perfectly fine for us but might not be for everybody's taste. Price & quality are on par. Feels very much like being welcomed in a home vs in a hotel

Nothing, everything was presented in the best way possible. The fact that we were comfortable and in a lively friendly neighbourhood made it the best place for us.

The presentation was up to standard and the overall service was excellent, will definitely recommend it to anyone anytime. Thank you for the great service we loved it.

After traveling 30 hours and arriving almost three hours late Mamu's was a welcome place to lay our heads. Karoline waited up for us and immediately saw us to our room. It had everything we needed to get some rest before we started our adventure the next day. She made us breakfast that was delicious!

The owner lady was amazing, from calling her sending a taxinto. My husband to be picked and dropped at the Apt, that was amazing, it's very nice place and security is good for a layover.

Further from the airport than expected. The taxi to and from was $20 USD, which was a bit of a surprise. The welcome was not unkind, but it didn't make be feel very welcome either. I didn't feel comfortable ordering an Uber eats for dinner, which was the only option, so just had some nuts that I'd brought with me and went to bed. It served the purpose as a place to sleep on my long stopover between flights, but I wouldn't want to stay any longer.

It was ok. It was inexpensive. I felt relatively safe. It was pretty clean. The shower was weak but it worked. It was quite quiet and the hosts were professional and efficient. The taxi arranged by the hosts was efficient, the driver kind, and arrived on time in the morning.

Beware of hidden costs. We only booked the hotel because we arrived at the airport as two women at 3 a.m. and the description said that an airport shuttle was included. We were picked up and taken to the apartment, which is in a gated community. There we were then charged 20$ for the transfer, which only took 5 minutes. With an Uber it wouldn't even have been 3$.
