The property it self was specious enough for us as a big family. Having bedrooms upstairs meant we had privacy incase some slept early. We loved the walks The house keeper was very helpful

It took us time to find the correct address. No convent stores/ supermarkets nearby.

Location and the house was great. Enjoyed the wildlife and space around the house.

The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable. Other beds in the house were good.

A beautiful house located near the Ol Pejeta reserve. The house is situated within the reserve, where various animals roam. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by zebras. The house is very spacious, with all rooms offering a lovely view and private bathrooms. The shared spaces of the house are roomy, clean, and comfortable. The garden has a beautiful view of the nature surrounding it. The pool is about a 5-minute walk away. It offers a nice refreshment after a whole day of safari. The kitchen is very well equipted.

    nothing, it was excellent

We liked the roominess of the place. Loved the location. So nice seeing zebra's, warthogs, monkeys and even cape bushbuck. Was also very close to Ol Pajeta Conservancy where we saw 4 of the big 5. Rhino, elephant, cape buffalo, lion. Then as added bonus giraffes, cheetah and even got to pet Baraka the blind Rhino.

Some walls were peeling and needed to be repainted. Dining room chairs were dirty. The covers need to be cleaned.

The location is very good, its nice to see the animals just right infront of you.

No one show us the facilities on arrival, there was not any deinking water available and no one communicated in advance. Very inconvinient. Check out time was not communicated and on the day of checkout the person just came in the house at 10 am requesting for us to be leaving soonest. Could of reached us by phone or email. Also no firewood. The top sitting area didnt have cushions to sit on so we couldnt used it. In the bath was not shampoo available for showering.

    Property response:

Dear Oscar, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you encountered during your stay. We’d like to clarify that the check-in and check-out times are highlighted on our property listing to ensure guests are informed in advance. However, we understand that this may not have been clear and regret the miscommunication regarding your departure time. We will also remind our staff to provide better communication during the checkout process to avoid any future inconvenience. Regarding the cushions for the balcony chairs, they are stored away to protect them when not in use. We apologize that this was not mentioned to you, and we will ensure that our housekeepers communicate this detail to future guests. As for drinking water, it is available on request for a small fee. We apologize if this was not conveyed clearly during your stay and will update our communication to avoid misunderstandings. We truly regret that your experience fell short of expectations, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a better experience in the future. Kind regards, Dan

Excellent house in a fantastic location. Esther the housekeeper is awesome, super friendly and very helpful.

The house is beautiful and well equipped. However, the decor is slightly out of date with paint peeling off some walls. A number of furniture pieces such as the chairs in the living room are damaged and should be replaced. The bed in the master bedroom is very low and the mattress awful with slack springs. Fortunately some of our other guests were unable to travel and we were able to use a different bedroom. The bed and mattress in the master bedroom should be replaced asap to the same good standard as the beds in the other bedrooms. Some of the Kitchen items and utensils are damaged and/or broken. These should be replaced. Otherwise a great house in an excellent location with room for improvement.

Our recent stay at the mansion was truly remarkable! The cleanliness of the property was impeccable, making it a comfortable and inviting space throughout our visit. The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the wildlife. We were thrilled to have zebras, warthogs, and gazelles wandering nearby—it felt like a scene straight out of a nature documentary. Having breakfast with such a breathtaking view was an unforgettable experience. This mansion is an excellent place to stay and absolutely worth the price. Highly recommended for those seeking a unique blend of luxury and nature!

Rough road from Nanuki and understated in distance, but easy enough to find. The chef ‘Charity’ was good, but you need to be specific and a day ahead on your food order or bring what you want her to cook. Cedar Mall is on the road you need out of Nanuki and has a very good supermarket. When staying here you are on the outskirts of Ol Pejeta Conservancy which allows you to have a 24 hour entry to the park, which means you can pay one park fee and do an evening game drive and the following morning game drive which was useful. Good game viewing and the lodge helps with guides and vehicles if required. Good advice from the estate office, close by to the pool. A great stay.

Old hotel towels, but you don’t feel guilty getting them dirty from being on Safari , sun cream and dust!

The location in the game reserve and relaxed environment. Friendly security staff

The road to the facility was disappointing, especially a huge water filled crater on the main road next to the main gate. The house was also infested with bees on the roof, a kid was stung once.

The location is good. Close to Ol Pejeta. However, the property is not 100% as they describe it on their drscription. Does not have its own pool. You have to drive to the pool. To far to walk especially with little kids.

In the description it states that it is airconditioned, which it is not. Upon arrival they said well there is a fan. But there is 5 bedrooms and only 2 working fans. The walls and chairs and oven where dirty and we arrived almost 2 hours after check-in time and the house was not ready. We were also without electricity for a whole day, there is no facilitied for this. No lamps, torches, gas stove or anything. Not even candles. It is suppose to cater for 10 to 12 people, but there is only 2 mismatched wine glasses, a couple of mismatched glasses and not enough knifes and forks. It is a private house with a nice veranda, and you might spot a zebra or warthog from the veranda, but it definately needs better management. They should also update their description so that potentiol visitors dont get the wrong info. There was no hairdryers, toiletries etc...all that was in the description. It is unfair on guests planning and traveling from far.

    Property response:

Dear Laetitia, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for providing your valuable feedback. I would like to address a few of the issues you mentioned. The house is well-ventilated, and while we typically do not receive requests for fans, we have provided two as a precaution. We will ensure additional fans are available for the rooms. Regarding the condition of the house at check-in, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by the late checkout that day. We are glad that our housekeeper was able to resolve everything promptly and that you were able to settle in comfortably. The power outage affecting the entire estate was due to the heavy rains, impacting all properties in the area. I kept you informed of the restoration efforts throughout, and I am pleased to note that the issue was resolved. The cooker can be lit manually in the absence of electricity, and this information was communicated to you. The house is designed to accommodate a maximum of eight people, which is why we provide the exact number of cutleries, with extras available if needed. Additionally, toiletries are always provided, and we believe your claim may have been a misunderstanding. We apologize for any inconveniences that were beyond our control. Thank you once again for your feedback. Best regards,

Some of the (kitchen) devices were defect/ broken or not complete: eg waterdispenser cold water broken. Refrigerator inside dividers. Chairs dinning table unstable/ broken. No TV channels. Bees/ wasp management not up to standard: Therefore could keep the windows open

    Property response:

Hi Jules, Thank you so much for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us! I wanted to let you know that we’ve noted the two broken dining chairs, the water dispenser, and the refrigerator dividers, and we’ll have them fixed and replaced right away. The toaster has already been repaired, and the bees have moved deep into the jungle, so they won’t be bothering you next time. It's a wilderness and they tend to move from place to place, as it's their habitat. We strictly don’t disturb the surrounding nature since it's part of the Olpejeta experience. Thanks again, and we can't wait to welcome you back! Regards, Dan
