The only thing about the room that I didn't like was that the room felt a damp. The shower also didn't work very well.

The room was large and spacious. I loved the private out door sitting space. Breakfast was very good and came with a lot of options. Dinner was confusing to me, I felt like the kitchen closed too early.

How comes you don't have a generator cz we stayed a day without lights, better do something about that,

Cleaning can improve. Not many places to go / eat at night - get to dinner early !

Overall cleanliness of the room, the Aircon emitted a foul smell and the curtains were dusty.

The breakfast was lovely, was skeptical about it being vegetarian but it was surprisingly good. The mattress is comfy and the pool is lovely.

there was a foul odour from the arabic shower attachment in the bathroom. this was notified to staff who hopefully resolved it. Pillows were also a bit hard.

- The room had a very veeeery strong smell of tabaco and it was impregnated in the bed sheets too. I arrived at night so I turned the AC on to be able to sleep with that smell… not ideal. - The toilet was not super clean either with spots around the toilet ball and the floor around the shower still wet. Overall the place didn’t give me the impression of being very hygienic. - Other guests arrived to the room next door who I was sharing the terrace with in the middle of the night and the person showing them around was very noisy when He showed the terrace and turned all the light on! (thing that woke me up…)

The structure of the place is beautiful! I love the ecological measures and that they just serve amazing local and western vegetarian food. The staff are all super nice. Specially the girls in the restaurant.

the staff were very nice most helpful with a smile the changed my room because of a problem with WiFi. also my luggage never arrived on the flight but the manager was keeping me informed about where it was it didn't arrive in mombasa six days after I arrived but that had nothing to do with the hotel

The bungalow huts are not as nice as the main building. They have a shabby look to them inside and you just feel a little underwhelmed. The balcony is shared which means you will not really use it to chill. The hotel menu is veggie and a little limited. Breakfast is also a little limited but the omelettes are good ! There isn’t a private beach at Ziwa, meaning that you will be hustled by locals as soon as you step down to the beach to try and go for a swim.

Right on the beach. The rooms in the new building (rooms in block 8) are comfortable and the sea view balcony (from rooms 820 upwards) is great. The breakfast area is nice and the pool is rather ok.
