Great property and guest house in the village. One of the most affordable and great value. Well located and very nice dinner and breakfast. The staff was so nice and spoke really good English. The beds were comfy and the facility is really good.

Although it seems like you're booking a dorm room, I got my own private room with a spotlessly clean bathroom! The breakfast is excellent as well. It's incredible value.

Best breakfast I received in a month in Kyrgyzstan. Kind and attentive care takers. They speak basic English, as my Russian was lacking :). The horses are a little more motivated than at the main tours in the country, I had fun.

A new road is being paved in the village, and during our stay there was intensive construction work both day and night. According to the hosts, this was also the reason for the problems with the hot water supply to the shower.

A spacious and bright room with amazing mountain views. A new and clean bathroom. The kids loved the many animals in the yard and also the river, just a minute from the room. The hosts did everything to make us feel at home, and the horseback rides we took with the host were excellent.

It is better to contact the host in advance so that they know you are coming and they can meet you on time. The contact details can be updated, I saw three different numbers across different map APPs and only one worked on WhatsApp. Not the best value for money compare to Karakol but it gives you a homestay feeling. They are still building and developing the village.

The room is very new and cozy. It is not cold at night. The dinner and breakfast is good. The location is right next to the lake but not noisy, the location is deep inside the town.

The family who run this guesthouse are lovely. The older lady makes amazing food, is very helpful and also did washing for us, and the breakfast (included) was huge! We also went horse riding with the son as a guide-a beautiful trek in the most amazing scenery, and the daughter also made us delicious food one day. The rooms are warm and comfortable and the location spectacular. I would 100% come back here

I found the arrival information to be a bit confusing, and both the room and food prices are quite high.

I had a great stay at this guesthouse. The room was very large and spacious, and the bathroom very clean. Additionally, the flexible check-in and check-out times were a big plus.

Expanding from snall guesthouse to more like a small hotel, while also running a farm, so not everything has been worked out yet e.g. wifi, heating, access to kitchen/kettle not always available. Hard working, lovely people, so probably just transitional issues. Also, there is no flexibility on meals - 700 som for massive dinner, no choice. If you want flexibility e.g.. smaller or cheaper meals, you'd need to bring food from Karakol. There is a very small shop in the village with noodles, crisps, tins (and beer) but seemingly no possibility to cook for yorself at the guesthouse.

New hotel extension just being finished, so I was offered a super,big private room at (Jyrgalan) dorm rates (about 1200 som), at time of writing. Pivate bathroom, shower, hot water, warm, good beds - really comfortable, peaceful and good value. Very tasty food. Good location, at one end of the village.

Everything was perfect

The most fabulous stay in Jyrgalan! The place itself is very comfortable, excellent hot water, and comfy beds. The real highlight though is the staff and the food! They were so caring and friendly, and arranged a nice horse ride for us. The food was amazing--huge breakfasts and dinners that were absolutely delicious. If I come back to Jyrgalan I would happily stay here again!

The host did not specify that dinner was an extra cost and upon checkout informed me that it was 800 som per person - a ridiculously high cost. Hosts needed to be transparent about this.
