Honestly the best budget friendly Hostel we had during our stay in Kyrgyzstan. We went back during our trip and would definitely come back during a next trip to the country.

The host was very nice eventhough we arrived really lately after our mashrutka faced some mechanical problems. He welcomed us with a nice smile. The day after, he easily answered our questions about transportations to sary mogol. Despite this, the place itself is very nice, comfortable, with an incredible garden and everything is super clean at any time

No water tape beside the commode. I would suggest to fix water tape beside the commode for multicultural tourist.

Nice family guesthouse located not far from the big Lenin statue. The wifi works amazingly. There was plenty of hot water and the shared toilets are very clean. The rooms are amazing, very ample and stylish. There is a kitchen but the family is always using it so it is not really possible to cook meals there, but you can heat some water for tea or mate. Marshrurtka 138 takes you to and from the main bus station which is 5 km away, also works for the bazar.

The rooms did have AC but it was not the best - seemed to take a very long time to get cool. But they gave us a fan when we asked and this was fine. Had to pay in cash (card not accepted).

Clean rooms, laundry service (cheap and dries super fast at this time of year), nice garden, good value for money. Staff spoke no English but we could communicate with Google translate. We were a few minutes late to check out and they didn’t mind too much! The location was also good - easy to walk most places or use Yandex to get a taxi further away! We liked it here and stayed here again when in Osh a few days later.

A very nice place to meet fellow travelers (also solo travelers like myself). The garden is a big bonus. It is not directly in the center, but everything at max 15 minutes walking distance.really liked my stay. Be prepared for google translate conversations with the owners if you don’t speak Russian or the local language :)

The host's family were not friendly considering this is a guesthouse. Felt like we were an inconvenience every time we used the shared space. A kitchen is advertised but it is definitely not for cooking as the family is always in there using it. They have a seperate section for tea/coffee. So don't expect to use the kitchen for anything more than washing dishes.

Nice big garden to sit in and use which was lovely. The room was spacious and had great AC. Bathroom were dated but clean and functional.

The family feels like they are constantly annoyed by our presence (or any other guest presence)..... Made us feel very unwelcome!! Although the garden is great, good location and clean room, we would not come again because of how the family spreads a strange mood non-stop (there are many other options in Osh). What a pitty.... We just wonder if you hate guests so much, why have a guest house. Ah also one note on the kitchen: we asked if we would be allowed to use it (which they unhappily said yes), but it is kind of their kitchen and constantly in use by them so we cooked on our camping cooker in the garden.

I felt like a very unwanted visitor — If I said hello when I walked in a room, no one would respond. The owners were willing to help solve problems when I asked for more toilet paper or for a bucket of water to flush the toilet with, but I’ve never been to a hotel or hostel so unfriendly. I don’t need much, but I felt uncomfortable sitting in the garden or generally making contact. I also had a horrible time trying to sleep here. The doors make a lot of noise opening and closing and there’s a gap so all sound comes through. One night (the worst night), other guests arrived at 2am (fine) but then at 4am they sat down in the hallway outside of my room and started having a leisurely conversation (less fine, and one of the hostel owners was just downstairs on his phone so he could’ve told them to move), then a little before 6am someone went into the attic above my room and started clomping around. Additionally, while the shared bathrooms were very clean, my room wasn’t. There was old food in the refrigerator, crumbs on the plate with glasses, crumbs on the desk, and the floor was rather dirty.
