A bit more attention to cleanliness would be nice - there were breadcrumbs and toiletries from the previous guest and an inch of dust on one of the dressers. A bit more attention also to communication - I asked online for some info about getting around and got ignored. When I asked the receptionist, she told me to wait for the admin but I never saw anyone again at reception.

Beautifully decorated and very central. The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything you need. There was a hair dryer and clothes iron on the hallway, to be shared, as well as a hot water kettle. The receptionist seemed kind and I had no issues checking in. There s plenty of eateries around, as well as a large supermarket to stock up if you're going on hikes. There's a couple of marshrutka stops nearby as well.

Nice room in Karakol. Can't complain. Close to the market and all the options in town. Front desk guy was helpful in answering questions about transport and info. Recommended.

We had no complaints at all. We highly recommend the family run business.

The owner was fabulous; attentive, very helpful and friendly. Our room was big with a large table and comfortable beds, clean and warm. We even had an extra heater if we wanted to use it. Our bathroom was big with plenty of hot water. It's good value for money compared to the other places I looked at. The location is excellent; right in the middle of town next to a supermarket and loads of eating options. It's also about a 15 minute walk to the GoBus stop (for the bus to/from Bishkek). There's a handy kitchen you can use if you wish and the owner even did laundry for us.

Location in the centre of busy area. Staff is very nice, helping us on our trip to Karakol Ski Resort. very friendly and excellent customer service. Room is clean and convenient. A very good choice to stay in Karakol.

This is really an amazing place in Karakol. We stayed in a double room. I don't know why someone would choose to stay in a different place. Is central, very clean, the rooms are great, beds are confortable, you have private bathroomv with great hot showers and in top of that a nice , well equipped shared kitchen. The supermarket is next door and the bazaar is 5 min walk away where you can find all the mashrotkas. I would stay here anytime.

Wonderful stay in a hostel slash hotel, located perfectly in the town center, close to main street, bus stops, restaurants and next to Globus supermarket. Close to Buku Bazaar and Ashlan Fu Alley. Clean bedlinens and towels, comfortable beds that they moved together for me. Helpful staff. Would stay here again. I did not enquire, but there seemed to be more facilties than I saw (or needed).

Would be better to have a bathroom mat outside the bathroom. Heaters are installed inside the room and bathroom but not turned on.

The staff is very helpful and speaks English very well! We had a rough day 2 and he still helped us even after we checked out. The only budget hostel that provided us two towels per person. Room and hostel facilities.

Everything was great. Esspecially Sultan is a great person. He really helped to us finding our tours to mountains. And place was super clean. You can smell the cleanliness. The location was great reaching supermarkets and restaurants.Also they have a really usefull kitchen. İf i visit again the karakol this is the place i am going to stay again.

Sayak hostel is in a perfect position, very close to the main attractions of Karakol and bus stops. The inside building is modern and new, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The manager is an amazing person: very nice and helpful, English speaking, ready to satisfy all your needs (he kept our luggage at the hostel while we were outside for a 3 days trek in the mountain). All the staff is really kind. They also have a very convenient laundry service and a large kitchen.

I like to location which is in the center of the town and near to all sorts of restaurant, market, money exchange, masrhruka, etc. The staff are very helpful and they speak simple English.

who says there's stuff I didn't like?

I liked everything: the location, the staff, the beds, the showers. They have nice common areas on all the floors and staff wasn't weird about the fact that my friends and I tracked mud everywhere. They also were super chill about the fact that I forgot to pay the bill one night and then returned a few days later covered in dirt and paid for it then.
