Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We chose 9 and not 10 because we couldn’t be there for the first night (flight delay) and we still pay the night despite our messages.
It’s a really nice guesthouse, you have everything you need in your room. The outside part are also nice with a swimming pool and a place to chill. The staff are super nice and take time for us. The location of the guesthouse is nice we walk almost everywhere.

Overall we had a good stay. However there were a few things that could be improved. We stayed on the ground floor near the bar area, and this was loud on a few of the nights. Also the shower in our room was cold.
We stayed for 4 nights at the Birdcage Boutique. Overall our stay was very good. The room was a good size with an en suite attached. The courtyard and pool area was a really nice area to relax and play cards with a drink and was sheltered from the busy city. The staff were friendly and attentive too.

It’s not brand new but we didn’t expect that. It’s clean and comfy with great staff.
We liked the rooms and the beds were comfy. The ac worked plus there was a fan in the room as well. We liked the bar and pool area to chill and meet fellow travellers.

Everything was fine. Jut unsure if it was value for money for me - but a good place nonetheless.
Nice to have a coffee stand outside - they are the loveliest people.

I didn't stay for the breakfast but I ate there the night before and the food was excellent, staff was friendly and I even got the opportunity to meet one of the owners. Down to earth crew, fantastic service and all in all a very positive experience

Nothing really, served our needs perfectly.
A gentle relaxed atmosphere,with kind , attentive staff. The room was large,clean with all the necessities you need and a brilliant shower! The location is excellent five minute walk to Independence Monument and the staff are super friendly like all Khmers. We stayed here on three different times during our month long trip, having read reviews about noise,I can say that although the bar area is open to the public, it was never noisy. Great little pool which is ideal for cooling down after a day sightseeing and perfect for keeping the kids quiet. The restaurant does great Khmer and western food too.

The only seats by the pool are the tables and chairs for the bar/restaurant, no sun loungers. The large gates to the street were usually left open so we felt very visible and uncomfortable while in the pool area. There was work going on when we stayed so the hotel restaurant only served breakfast and no other food. (Stayed June 2024) The toilet and shower in the bathroom were on a raised floor causing water from the shower to spill onto the floor, and making it awkward to get onto the toilet.
Nice hotel, spacious and well furnished room. Large outdoor seating area downstairs nice for a drink in the evenings. Good to have the pool. Lots of restaurants nearby. Ok breakfast choices (from menu, not a buffet)

Very very noisy at night. The place was like a nightclub which made sleeping impossible. Loud music and drunk people yelling till 1.30am. All front rooms would experience this awful situation as I did. After two nights of this I demanded a quieter room at the back of the hotel which I received.
Lovely friendly staff. Great pool and courtyard. Great location and value for money.

Friday and Saturday nights are really busy in the reception areas as they hold barbecue nights and the place gets pack. If you want peace and quite dont book those nights or book a room on a high floor. Didnt bother us, but it did some people.
Nice room, had our own balcony. Great hot shower and comfortable bed. Pool was clean and a big size so able to swim lengths. Nice Friendly Staff Good food on site, minimart near by. Would definitely stay here again

Breakfast should be included in the price. Also not enough veggie options for breakfast.
Nice hotel. Set in a garden with a swimming pool. My room was quiet, it was upsta away from the pool and bar. Nice seating area in the garden. WiFi was good. Secure parking for motorcycle.

Nothing really. Needs a full time manager to assist young staff.
Room really very nicely decorated. Very spacious. Very nice bathroom. Interesting building with architectural details. Relaxing bar area and pool area. Super nice staff. Great location. Walking distance to many sights ( although hard going in 40 degrees )
