Everything was super nice and chill - Stuff, chill area, food. Little bit outside of the city. Minimalistic room: no curtains on the top of the beds, no charger next to the upper bed and no light for every single bed. For me its not a problem, but maybe for others

It was the best peaceful and quiet cocoon in Kompot. The hostel lays on the river, you can chill there and enjoy the view from a hammock. The staff was super nice and helpful, shoutout to Brandon and the puppies/cats. I wish I could stay more !

Be aware, that if you book the standard double, you might not get the balcony room as indicated by the pictures. Breakfast is not the very best, which is a pity. Volunteer staff could be more friendly. Laundry did not come back clean.

The location is absolutely amazing, very calm and chill. Its a bit out of town but you can rent motorbikes there. The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. Very cute cats and dogs.

Hard to note things we didn’t like as we had a wonderful experience. The experience we had is the team there booked a tour guide for us however he didn’t arrive the next day. They quickly found us a replacement however he didn’t speak English. The driver was a lovely man but the barrier limited our tour as we were unable to ask him questions. This is fine for a regular Tuk Tuk lift into town but not the ideal situation for tours.

We really liked that it was out of the town and right on the river. Beautiful views while enjoying drinks and food plus a dip in the river if you want. Even though it’s out of town the Tuk Tuk is only 2$. The breakfast here was so yummy, we enjoyed the Khmer options! The staff, in particular Brandon, were very attentive and friendly. Brandon gave us plenty of recommendations and laughs each day. The room was clean, spacious and modern. Get the river view room ☺️ Special shout out goes for the 3 doggies who live onsite (shadow , pepper and the pug) these 3 are the cutest and cuddliest dogs. Make sure you spend some quality time with them.

Not exactly a criticism as it might just be my weak stomach, but the beef burger I ate gave me a rough night. Luckily, nothing too serious and the hotel was the best place to rest and recover.

The place was a haven to just stay and enjoy life. The dogs were so cute, especially the puppy (that sort of looks like a coyote). The room was clean and spacious. The mattress is super comfortable. The staff is a high point, always ready to help and very cool.

Little shabby in places around the grounds, could be fixed with a bit of tlc and paint here n there. Rental Kayaks could be better.

Great location right on the river, so yes it is out of the town a bit but easy to get a tuk tuk in. Comfortable rooms/beds, good air con, Scooter rental easy on site. Lovely staff, great cocktails and happy hour!

Just the wooden bed itself is getting little bit old.

People working there are nice, friendly and helpful. Room is bigger than I expected. FOOD 10/10 delicious, big portions considering Asian portions and affordable.

There was no cupboard or drawer in the bedroom, so we lived out our suitcases for 2 weeks The drain smell in the bathroom was really bad and the water slowly started to get less and less warm. I think a small bin in the bedroom itself would also be nice, not just a bin in the bathroom.

The upstairs room with the balcony was great! The staff were friendly and the area to chill downstairs was super nice. The river view is beautiful, and our kayak activity was fun. Going to miss Key and the kitties the most :(

The location, 10 minutes ride from the property is perfect! Along the river, it’s peaceful and quiet. Plus, if you like animals they have two cute kitties and three awesome dogs. They can arrange transportation and rent bikes and motorbikes. The food is also good.

The hostel is located 10 minutes by motorbike from the centre. But it is really worth it to stay a little outside of the crowded area and be close to the nature.The hostel has a really nice vibe, located next to the river. There is a cool bar where you can relax after a long day and enjoy the company of the little cats and puppies.

It's not the center of town, but it's definitely worth it if you want a getaway. Not much happening during the low season, but that's to be expected.

Beautiful location and pretty affordable, especially with dorm style options. The rooms are kept up well, saw cleaners going at it before check-in. Staff was super chill and friendly with everything. It's such a great spot if you just want to vibe.

Super affordable place in Kampot. I booked for one night, but ended up staying for a week! It has a cool social area with amazing views along the river. I tried a few dishes from their menu and they were all delicious. The staff is a mix of western and Khmer and they’re super helpful and sociable, which added to the experience.

The only small thing is that there was no fridge in the room, but nothing else!

I honestly fell in love with this place and wish we'd stayed longer! The staff were super friendly, easy going and chatty from the moment we arrived. The location was gorgeous - though a little out of town, you're right on the riverbank and feel very much out in nature. The room was spotless, with a super comfy bed, and the shower was great too. We hired a kayak for just 4 dollars and went up the river, and ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant which was great value for money with good sized portions. I was also particularly smitten by the two 6 week old puppies (plus another dog and cats) who live there!! Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the area, and would definitely come back if I return to Kampot!
