How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Verified reviewStaff are friendly, the location is quiet but central, the pool is nice so are the outside/courtyard areas.
The room is small, all the electric outlets didn't work reliably enough so ended charging my stuff in the bathroom, the daily water is provided in glass bottles, there is no door between bedroom and bathroom, in the bathroom there is no towel rack and the shower head cleans everything around you as well. Breakfast minimal with little choice, never meat and only two kind of fruits. I'll stay somewhere else next time.

The room was not very comfortable. But what we really didn't like was the bunch of tuktuk drivers who hang around in the alley outside. We had to walk past them to get from our room to the reception, restaurant and pool, and they could see us while we were swimming or eating. On two of the three nights we stayed they were drinking; on one of these nights quite drunk and rude to us. It felt really quite awkward and a bit intimidating - you expect it on the streets but not at your hotel.

Verified reviewThe hotel is in a quiet location within walking distance of central Siem Reap. The hotel can provide many services including Angkor Wat tour and massage service all for market standard pricing, the mini-bar in the room is also very reasonably-priced. Swimming pool is a decent size and looks clean. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice and decent coffee.
Room fittings are fairly old (fridge, shower, A/C).

Verified reviewThis hotel is in a great location, literally a 5 minute walk to the riverside night market and across the bridge to town. We got a double room with balcony, I wouldn't recommend if you have walking difficulties as the steps are very steep. Hotel staff are all very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The pool was closed for maintenance while we were there but should be finished now. This wasn't a problem as they have another pool to use. Tuktuk drivers outside the hotel and staff will get a price for you.

Booked because of swimming pool, one isn't in use the other is a health hazard, inches of green mould growing in water, tested water no chlorine and ph levels in the danger levels. Pictures don't really show how bad pool was Room is reached by 45' steps. Air con just about working, room never below 28c Fridge just working, never below 10c. Breakfast no comments Please read other reviews, I didn't and wish I had. For a few pounds more some great we'll maintained hotels near.

Verified reviewEverything was great: super friendly and helpful staff, nice location with several restaurants nearby, a possibility to book activities (we did a pottery class), a laundry service. Breakfast was very good too, and the hotel actually provides a breakfast box if you have an early-morning activity that starts before 6:30 am (typical for Angkor Wat tours). The pool was lovely. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, it had a big balcony with a table and chairs. AC was working well enough. The wifi was fast and reliable (for watching videos and reading things). We had an amazing stay and would definitely come back!
The AC in our room kept being a bit noisy in morning around 6-7 am (no idea why then) so we had to turn it off for a couple of hours, and then it was fine again.

Verified reviewThe hotel is small and cozy. Very nice staff. Wanted to mention that they have very good pillows (firm ones). The breakfast has not many options though, but they provide with breakfast box if you need to go early on the tour.
There are no hooks for towels in the bathroom.
