Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaLots of mosquitoes, but you can't help that with all the greenery and warm weather. Easily solved with bug spray and wouldn't stop me from staying again.
What can I say. Map and coy are two of the loveliest people you could meet. Room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view over the garden and pool , Loved the patio. Pool was amazing to cool down after a day temple crawling. Breakfast was a good size and very tasty. Location is just out of town but close enough to everything I wanted. Gad a couple of really cool cats as well Will stay again.

DenmarkUpon arrival, the curtains couldn't close, the TV was broken, and there were a few other essential things that needed to be fixed before we could settle in.
Location close to Angkor ticket office and ruins. The pool and garden were wonderful after a day at the ruins. Good beds, nice room.

IrelandStaff and pool was lovely. Rooms spacious but slightly musty, good air con and mosquito net provided. Little issues like broken chair on balcony, no pool towels etc that make it not quite the luxury they promise but clean, pleasant and all in all a good place to stay

IrelandThere was a lot of mosquitos unfortunately due to a lot of vegetation. My sisters room did not have a proper canopy over the bed.
The lady who owns it is super friendly and so we’re the other staff members we met. They were very helpful with helping us organise out tours. The property is very rustic jungle vibes and we enjoyed that.

We had a truly wonderful time at Marirath, so much that we extended our stay to 13 days. This place is unique, a beautiful architecture standing in a luxurious garden filled with flowers and crowned by a stunning pool, which is an absolute best at every hour of the day. The rooms are really gorgeous, spacious and fresh, all wooden with original colonial design and a very nice individual terrace. They were impeccably cleaned everyday. Also a very convenient location as the hôtel is directly on the road to the temples. All the hotel staff made us feel in paradise... Everyone here is extremely sweet, from the helpful tuk-tuk drivers who speak great english, to the cooks who make excellent soups, and to all the team of gardeners, maids and receptionists who were always smiling, welcoming and so polite. We especially want to thank the owner, the adorable Sara, who took such great care of us from day 1. As the hôtel was full booked for Khmer new year, as well as all the other hôtels in the city, she still managed to provide us with a superb and cheap accomodation. She allowed us to have a blast for New Year's in Seam Reap, and during all our stay at Marirath so we can't thank you enough Sara 🥰!

CambodiaThe owner was very friendly. Although she doesn't speak much English but she still tried to engage in the conversation. We really enjoy chit chatting with her. The food was good. We had breakfast and lunch a few times during our stay. The hotel has lush garden and quiet environment. Room was nice and it's pretty cool even in a hot day. Interior all around the hotel and in the room is vintage, which was one of the reason why we choose to stay there. We love vintage things! Overall we had a very relaxing stay. We'll be back again when we have time for holiday to Siem Reap!

A beautiful resort away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The owner is a lovely lady that is very friendly and helpful, as is the staff. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything. You can relax either on the balcony or at the pool, surrounded by plants and the song of birds. It's just perfect!

IndonesiaMantainance of the room need a little bit more of touch. Breakfast menu is really basic. The owner was nice to give us always free plate of fruit and tea. I hope the menu of the breakfast and the food will be improved. In the night can hear some roosters from the neighbours. No a big bother anyway. Around the resort there are no restaurant and being the onsite menu very limited, you will go always outside for dinner to the city centre.
We were a group of 6 friends and we spent 4 nights in Marirath Boutique Hotel. First of all we loved the funny and welcoming owner Mrs. Rath, she treated us as a family. The resort is really nice, with a colonial vibe, a nice swimming pool surrounded by a tropical garden. We had the upstairs rooms, spacious and with a beautiful wood floor. Every room had a balcony with a view on the swimming pool and garden. The location is out of the centre of Siem Reap, it means no crowded area, but just 10 minutes awat from the city centre with a Tuktuk coating only 2,5$. I will come back for sure in this nice little resort.

ChinaI liked it very much as it brings me back to old time in Siem Reap - like living in the history- also the picture you saw on the booking is exactly same as the hotel
if you like history and enjoy art and culture, it would be your place to stay - with beautiful colonial French design, the hotel is full of interesting pictures and details to discover

GermanyA peaceful place and relaxing accommodation. Good location to get to the Angkor temples and the busy parts of Siem Reap, yet far from the buzz. Comfortable bed, tasteful interior. Great breakfast included. Lunch and dinner is offered at reasonable prices and the quality of the food is great. The garden and pool are well kept, private and quiet. The host is a gem and her staff are extremely helpful in arranging tours, bus tickets, motorcycle or whatever. Would certainly return!

CambodiaThere was a cockroach in the shower when we arrived, but besides that everything was ok and clean.
Everybody was really nice. The hotel is quiet and the pool seemed pleasant although we did not have the time to enjoy it. They kindly kept our luggages for the day after we checked out, and opened a room for us to take a shower before taking our night bus.

GermanyThe location is a little off-road. There were not so many guests so the service was not as smooth as you know it from bigger hotels. There was roomservice available after we specifically asked for it.
The Hotel just reopened recently so the staff was very kind and attentive and tried to make us feel welcome. The room was very nice, the bed comfortable and overall very clean. The location was great for visiting the temples. The pool and garden area was beautiful. The breakfast was okay. We had lunch once which was very tasty.
