While the setting is beautiful, there is sometimes a lack of good seats to relax right by the river. It might be better if they had a few more sun loungers etc.

Sabay Beach is the best place to stay on the river at Kampot. This trip was the first time I have been back for a number of years, but it is still exceptional. The rooms are large, clean and provide everything you need. The setting is beautiful, with lots of places to relax by the river. The food and drink options are a cut above most other places along the river. The staff at Sabay Beach are also excellent - always warm, welcoming and willing to help with whatever you need.

There was a loudspeaker that started at 5am!!

It was a lovely, peaceful location. The staff are attentive and helpful. The food at their restaurant was really good!!

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights. We honestly had a perfect stay. From the food, bedroom, drinks, views, help with booking tours/bus/rides, and above all else the staff were just wonderful. Such great value for money, too. Thanks G'day, Moi, Mesi and rest of the lovely staff-from the 2 crazy ladies. 😉

Out of the hotel's control, but there was street noise from Kareoke and a party. Probably not like this all the time though, and it did end by about 10.30 - 11pm.

We loved our stay here. The staff were amazing, the restaurant was excellent, and the Treehouse was a unique experience. The riverside location offered a cool breeze most of the time.

A lovely group of tree houses in a riverside setting surrounded by trees. There’s a great beach and a wonderful bar / dining / lounge area with a range of seating and a hammock to enjoy the delicious food and cocktails. There’s room was clean and comfortable with a bathroom on the ground floor. It was pretty quiet in the evening. The town is a 15 min tuktuk ride. The best part are the really friendly staff who were very attentive and helped arrange our daytime arrangements and taxi to the airport.

The view was gorgeous, misty mountains and a peaceful river. The food was always delicious, and the staff very friendly and attentive. My bungalow was peaceful, clean and close to river. I kayaked every day and loved every minute of my stay. Highly recommend.

The staff friendliness and the exceptional menu and kitchen staff were a definite highlight of this lovely little hidden gem on the river in a quiet spot in Kampot. Rooms were modest / treehouse style, rustic but perfectly fine. Beds were very comfortable. If your travelling in the wet season, be sure to bring insect repellant. Aside from that, we would def re-visit when in the area again. A real hidden gem.

A lovely accommodation surrounded by nature. We loved sitting by the river, reading or stroking the cats or just admiring the scenery. The room was clean, spacious and we had a peaceful sleep. The restaurant is superb! Thank you to Kdey, Ly, Mouy and Misy that made our stay even sweeter!

Sabay Beach is a rustic but stunning resort sitting beside the river. The food was amazing and it was served by super friendly and efficient staff- Kdey Ly, Misy and Mouy really looked after me.
