Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicHotel great for party animals. Otherwise get ready for sleeping just 2 hours per night as party noises from outside will disturb you throughout the night.
Amazing staff, wooden interiors, room, value for the price.

AustraliaA bit too noisy for my liking . Even though we knew we were close to Pub Street the music and bass could be heard until 5am from all the surrounding bars . Take ear plugs!!!
Amazing architecture even if it was a bit dated. Staff were all so lovely and attentive

SlovakiaCan be noisy late into night, the beds are bit messy, the cleanliness can be improved. There was too much chlorine in the pool.
Very beautiful hotel with lot of paintings on the walls and art work everywhere, central location close to the Pub street and night markets, not very far from Angkor watt. Very good breakfast with lot of choices in a beautiful room. Pool with the possibility of sauna (for 3 USD {person/hour).

United Kingdomnothing, the places was fine
Nice room and the hotel is located within a few minutes walk of lots of restaurants and bars. The hotel itself needs to be seen, lots of wood carvings, statues etc all over the hotel. Very nice feel to the place as a result. Staff were very attentive. Really good choice for breakfast

Czech RepublicWiFi was weak A bit old :) When we wanted to reserve a guide with tuktuk to Angkor Wat, receptionist said 30USD and just waved at the first guy outside the hotel. He didn't speak much of a English...we could have done that ourselves and like this we just wasted min 10USD
Authentic, very nice sleep. Outside lots of good street food, 7-11behind the corner Constitution is going on outside during daytime, but it didn't bother us at all because we've hardly been inside.

Peru.
Old traditional hotel in the center of town, near the market, restaurants and shops, perfect to go out in the afternoon or night for a walk after sightseeing and tours to grab dinner nearby. We did not try the breakfast, prefered to walk to the market and try the local food.

Thailandthe hotel needs updating. the bed was comfortable but the room lacks modern electrical outlets and charging stations. the window did not close all the way which allowed mosquitos to enter at night. the breakfast buffet was ok but the ads said there was a restaurant and room service but we had to go out for food. the light fixtures were old and one switch broke during the stay. we had to remove the bulb to shut off.

LithuaniaBeautiful building, great location, very nice staff. Keep in mind that evidently, not all Superior rooms have actual windows (in my case the window was basically a wall). This can be good or bad depending on your preferences - being cut off from daylight and having no idea what the weather is like might be annoying; on the other hand you're guaranteed that the place is dark and quiet at night. Which was useful in my case. If you have any strong preferences, reach out to the hotel before booking.

GermanyUnfortunately it was pretty loud at night until the early morning. The noise was not caused by the pub street, but by some small bars on the same street (street 10) as the hotel.
Breakfast was good and was prepared to order just because there was a very low number of guests. But it was tasty and we liked it. The location is good in terms of distance from the pub street/town center. The staff allowed us to switch to a room with a balcony. If you want to have a king size bed, there was no window in the room - so if you are fine with single beds I would recommend the balcony instead.
