Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe food was exceptional. The lovely gardens and the sunset left us wide-eyed with admiration. What a sanctuary! The pool was also welcome; it was perfectly clean and just the right temperature. We all regretted that we were not able to stay longer. We will certainly return at the next opportunity.

SwitzerlandThere was problems of water at night. No water was there in the toilet; which is fairly inconvenient. The price in the restaurant is more close to European price and way more expensive than Cambodian price. The kitchen reception didn’t understand English and mistook my order and served a noodles instead of fried rice. But the noodles as well as all other foods were testy. Specially the carrot cake. 😊
Excellent setting. Very close to the famous Koh Ker temple. Large room and good food at the restaurant.

United KingdomThe perfect place to stay to visit Koh Ker and the amazing, remote site of Preah Vihar near the border with Thailand. The hotel is newly built and you will have a spacious bungalow in the middle of a lovely flower garden in the countryside. The new air conditioning is completely quiet and efficient, a welcome addition. It's very quiet and the pool is perfect, with a jacuzzi, superbly clean and warm, to unwind after the climbing of temples and walking through the Khmer heritage prasats. The very friendly owners, Renée and Michel, will welcome you and organise the trips with their chauffeur. The food is all freshly made by the professional cook Darat, it's delicious and offers you a large selection of dishes. This is a hidden gem, where you can even play pétanque and relax totally during your Cambodia tour.

United KingdomBeautiful setting in gardens with amazing sunsets. There's a pool but it was being refilled so we couldn't use it. Unfortunately refilling the pool cut off all the water to our bungalow so we couldn't even flush the toilet. The staff stopped the refilling immediately when we asked but then started again later which was a bit frustrating. The food in the onsite restaurant is exceptional. The WiFi works fine with a modem in the room and there's a kettle and hairdryer in the room. It's an easy bike ride to Koh Ker temple park and to the small town a mile away. There are other restaurants and hotels at the town if you don't like the prices here. It was around twice the price of any other hotel we stayed in during our 3 week tour (including the hotels with swimming pools in Siem Reap and Bangkok, though we got good deals on those). Here you're paying for the peaceful location and excellent restaurant and attentive service from the staff.

NorwayVery nice place. We were unlucky because the pool was under cleaning while we were there. But very friendly and helpful French couple and Cambodian staff. There are no tuk tuk available in Seyong, so you need a car to visit the temple. We got help from the hotel :)

United Statesthe bed, sheets and owners attitude
beautiful location but the owner is a little bit rude. I wasn’t aware about the fact that you had to pay cash, perhaps it was my fault cause I didn’t read it but what business doesn’t receive cc payments? the food/ dinner was good but breaks fast had limited options, I asked for well cooked eggs and had to return 2 or 3 times. the bed was uncomfortable, too hard and the sheets felt like rayon, scratching my skin at night. like I said I got into an argument with the owner about the payment and although I asked him to stop he sort of continued and I had to be firm saying I had a long day, coming from Preah Vihear and that I would pay him, I also had to bring the router to my room as internet is very unstable but then again, you are in the country side and non touristy area. the place has potential but need to work on the customer service. I also arrived early night and I had to wait as there was no one in reception

FranceThis hotel made a perfect stopover for us as we were coming from four thousands islands in Laos and were on the way to Siem Reap. Our family room was a double room with 2 extra beds for the kids, which worked well as the room is more than big enough to accommodate the extra beds. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and we enjoyed dinner in the hotel in the evening and also excellent breakfast in the morning. The hotel helped us find a taxi driver that stayed with us for 3 days, who picked us from the border, drove us around Koh Ker, and finally drove us to Siem Reap while visiting Beng Melea on the way.

CambodiaThe weather was hot, the room also hot - needed to turn air-con on for a while, but sitting waiting outside the room enjoying the view of countryside should be fine. The review has a picture of 7/11 mart wrongly place - it’s in Siem Reap. Please remove it.

United KingdomNothing
This was a wonderful, tranquil haven with a slightly cooler climate than in some of the other places we stayed. It was very different to a lot of Cambodian accommodation and had a distinctly European feel. It was an ideal base for a few days of quiet relaxation and exploration of the local area. It is in a rural area surrounded by fruit, pepper and casava fields/ plantations. We also took up the kind offer from the owner to use their bikes to explore the Koh Ker temples. We haven't been on bikes in years but it was a great way to spend the day and to look round the temples at our own pace! The restaurant had a European feel too serving a great choice of options.

ChinaInternet would have been nice but we understand that tthe hotel is located in an area with limited coverage.
Everything about this place was fantastic. The couple who run the place are kind and welcoming. The grounds are spacious and well-kept. The breakfast is delicious and set in a beautiful open-air dining room. The bedroom is also spacious with a big comfortable bed. And finally, the location is fantastic. Just a 10-15 minute scooter ride to the incredible Koh Ker temples.
