Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomVentilation in the room is quite uncomfortable and the air-conditioning is pretty dusty it seems. Had sinus issues/blocked nose after staying here. If you get a top bunk, you probably won't enjoy your stay because the beds are very creaky/narrow. It is expensive for what it is on the weekends and you can find much more comfortable hostels/guesthouses for the same price on the weekends/busy periods. 20K max is all I'd pay for this hostel, anything more, and you're being robbed. Kitchen is a bit dirty/not very well equipped and some equipment is off-limits for guests and reserved for the volunteers, which makes you feel a bit like a second class citizen.
The staff and volunteers are all really nice and welcoming, and they do a thorough clean through every morning. Bathrooms are clean/nice to use. If you get a bottom bunk then it's quite comfortable. It's very good value on the weekdays.

United KingdomJust the fact that there is only the toilet available for you to use is the one in your dormitory. For that reason alone leaves at mercy the other person in your dormitory.
The location is quite okay, if you are travelling to explore the greater parts of the country. Just à places to rest for a few days.

United KingdomThe railing on the top bunk of the bed does not seem very secure and I accidentally unhooked it whilst climbing down the ladder on my first try. I wouldn’t want to roll against it in any meaningful way for fear it would give way. The building also doesn’t have an elevator so it’s not very accessible.
Excellent location, great price, clean and relatively comfortable. The staff were also really nice. If you need to get to the Express Bus Terminal or Line 2 this place is perfect.

South KoreaI don't wanna complain too much about anything because this hostel was the cheapest option in a great location. However, the blanket on the bed had some stains, as well as the towel looked very sad being partly torn and with stains... And the walls had dark spots in the corners that seemed like mold... Would I still book this hostel again? Probably yes for the price and the room was pretty big for a single room.
- Great location with two subway stations very close by. - Plenty of convenience stores, cafes, restaurants and anything you might need in walkable distance. - Free water dispenser was a life saver. - Very nice staff. - Spacious room and bathroom.

Israelthere is automatic light at room, means when you move in bed in your sleep or want to quitely take something from your bag, the entire room lights up and wakes people up, including yourself, this is a terrible design choice. I had to leave early so I packed the night before but when i got up early in the morning to quitely leave the place, the automatic light woke up my roommates. the door handle to our bathroom was broken but worked. the blanket is a polyester blanket, means you will sweat to death if sleeping with it, even if it is not hot in the room.
clean, good location and helpful staff. there is just one huge downside I will mention down here.

PolandIt would be useful to have curtains by the bed. There is a motion sensor light in the room, so every time someone came inside, I was woken up.
The hostel is located close to the subway station, but a bit far from the main attractions. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff is very nice, you can leave your luggage after check out.

Indonesia- No elevator/lift available. You will need to take the stairs to 3rd floor to reach the reception. And then you need to take another stairs to get to your room if you get the 4th floor rooms. - The kitchen is quite dirty. Inside the microwave is dirty. No kitchen utensils, even for spoons, forks, chopsticks, plates, and glasses. - The provided towels is a hand towel, so you might want to bring a bigger towel for showering.
Nearby the subway exit. But it's quite far from the city centre. Even if you want to go to Gangnam tourist area, you need to take the subway (again).

FranceThe room was small but totally acceptable, the bathroom on the other hand was spacious and unexpectedly comfortable. The staff cleaned the room regularly, so it stayed clean at all times. Everybody was extremely nice and helpful. The location was also quite convenient, a bit far from the city center but close to the key public transport, which made it easy to navigate the city. I was also staying over during the coldest months (December/January) and was worried it would get cold at night, but the temperature inside was kept at a perfect level.
