It is an excellent hotel with super helpful staff at every level. First and most important it is very very clean. The breakfast was exceptional, which gives a combination of western and eastern tastes. Concierge, housekeeping and reception staff, they were all super helpful and polite. Moreover, I have been in Seoul to attend a conference in COEX and the hotel is very conveniently located. It is just 2 minutes away. As for the location, even though it is not close to the old city, it is easily accessible via tube or taxi. There are two shopping malls next to the hotel and there is Hyundai duty free store next door which also has a very posh supermarket at its basement level. It was simply an excellent stay!

SingaporeWe were a bit surprised at how low the ceiling was on the guest floors. It would have been more congruent to the sense of space the lobby area lent with higher ceilings. The room also seemed smaller than 400sqft which was abit disappointing. While it still felt new, finishing of furnishing and quality of equipment lacked a certain finesse that we were expecting. We stayed during the off peak season which made the room rate more reasonable. However as plesant as the experience was, we are not sure if paying 30-50% more is justifiable. Probably the biggest surprise was that it cost an additional 60,000krw to use the sauna facility. That seems high and it would be nice if management reconsidered to lower this supplement charge.
Room was very clean & comfortable and had good sound insulation. We had a good sleep after a red eye flight. Enjoyed using the toiletries as they had an invigorating scent. There was a bathtub! The hairdryer was also powerful which is a relief after using many weak hairdryers at hotels. There were other ammenities like an ironing board and soft shoe brush which are small touches that are appreciated. We found the staff warm and approachable as well and they were very eager to assist when we needed. Doormen and conceirge were efficient and welcoming which created a nice impression upon arrival. I much prefer hotel receptions on the ground floor like this one as it feels you are ushered into care of the hotel as soon as you arrive. Overall a very pleasant 1 night stay and the excellent location near a major mall, exibition hall & train station definitely helps.
