Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThe room could have been a little bigger, Also, if the toilet was separate from the rest of the bathroom, that would have been a plus. Family room with 4 persons and 1 shared bathroom ...
location is great, right next to the train station and police station ;).

SingaporeNeed to climb a big slope to reach to the hotel.
Basic accommodation, close to Seoul station. But beware that it’s like a 15-20 minutes (indoor) walk from Seoul’s station and need to climb a big slope (outdoor). Not suitable for those with children or mobility issues. Hotel itself is alright, basic; Have a common area/ coffee room with fridge, washing machine etc.. Just behind police station, no need to worry about security. Neighbourhood is quiet, no food stalls/ restaurants close-by.

IrelandHeating stopped working throughout the night and hall’s noise could be heard from the room easily. It did have all the amenities needed for the room (hand soap, towels, shampoo, hair brush, tooth brush).
Great rooftop terrace - smoker friendly up there, kitchen in the basement with coffee and fridges.

JapanGood location, tho beware, you need to walk uphill to reach this hotel. Keep that in mind of you need to bring heavy luggage. I did send I had no problem but keep that in mind. The room is not super big and comfortably enough for two people. Just don't expect room enough for four suitcases.

JapanWhile the staff are clearly taking care of the place and regularly keeping it clean, the facilities per se seemed a bit old-ish (eg the wallpaper had some minor stains), so some renovation might make the place even better. But it’s a good value for money anyway due to advantages.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive. The location is very convenient in terms of logistics. Wifi and other services worked well. Good price/value.

SingaporeThe rooms are quite small for two persons. And also the bathroom. Probably, because of the building space, they are unable to make bigger rooms.
The location is super near to the central Seoul Station and a lot of amenities are nearby. The hotel provides free water & coffee, which is great for coffee lovers.

AustraliaRoom was functional at best. Tv didn't work, wasn't plugged in, didn't work anyway. No milk...nothing in the common area fridge, no washing powder. I think the size is really hard for kids. But it's probably priced due to location of the train station and the heating, shower and sleeping were great.
Quiet, Xmas gift was very thoughtful, heating and shower were great

GermanyPerfect solution for a family of 4. Very spacious room with 4 beds and bathroom. There was also a desk area and lot of space for luggages. Very near to the Station, a bit tricky to get there since exit 10 is a bit difficult to exit with heavy luggages. The area is not the best at night but Seoul is a safe city. We stayed for 3 night and I would recommend the hotel. I don't exclude we will sleep again there next time we travel to Seoul.

SpainThe room was very, very small and if you are two people each with a suitcase it is difficult to organize. Despite this, the room does not have many storage solutions on the wall (shelves, etc.) that would help to let off steam. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay but not a longer one.
Hotel super close to Seoul station and more or less on hand from the Namdaemun market area. The hotel is like a small hostel, with common areas (terrace, kitchen and computer room) and it is very clean. The room is very small, with hardly any space to open the suitcases. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is quiet.
