Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Rooms vary the first one we had smelled of smoke and was a bit run down. This was supposed to be a no smoking room/floor. I am not sure they actually enforce no smoking. There was a drink guy near the check-in asking us where we were from and the staff did nothing about it. I am a female travelling with a teenage girl, and this made me feel uncomfortable and it was inappropriate at 10pm. I did not know if he was staying there and I did not want to get into the elevator if he was going up as one card activates the floors and anyone can push a floor after. My daughter felt scared when this happened.
Easy check in, lots of cafes nearby and food with a 7-11 beside the hotel and Coupang delivery is easy to receive. Subway is literally 2 minutes away and very convenient.

Very close to the station. Easy to check in and nice to have a later check out than other places. Room was clean and cozy. Good water pressure and hot water.

I wish we could have been able to control the temperature in the room. It was a cold winter night but the room was a bit too warm (26 C) so we wanted to lower the temperature.
Location was good. It is next to the subway station and there are some good restaurants and convenient stores nearby. The facilities and amenities in the room were very well maintained and clean.

Due to the time of year, the central air conditioning was turned off. Left the windows open all night, but it was still 27-28C in the room. Otherwise, the room is great.

Windows facing buildings, have to draw the curtains for privacy.
Perfect location. Close to subway station and bus stop. Many restaurants serving local food around the vicinity. Comfortable and clean.

It’d be good to have more hangers in the room.
They don’t have a grand entrance / lobby but the details in the room - it’s probably better than some of those 5 star rated hotels. They have a smart toilet bowl in the room with built in bidet and heated seat. Easy to squeeze shampoos, shower gels etc (I am not sure why is this still not practiced in all hotels). Easy to access WiFi and hotel location. Finally, I can sit and enjoy my skin care and make up routine in the room with a good decent mirror. A lot of time, this is usually neglected, not a must to have, but when I see this in a boutique hotel, then I’ll be wondering why not the star rated hotels. It’s always good to have a good sized wardrobe, and they have it as well. The staff’s English is good too. Friendly and efficient!

restroom door. it is not cover whole restroom. couldn't control the heater. AC didn't work. they told me to open window and didn't notice there is screen window on 1st night. got mosquito bites..
just average 3 star hotel. not worth over $100. but very good location. right next to metro station.

Small room. No space to open luaggage properly without blocking walking. Shower wall grout was not clean at all. No individual light for the table to use while other is asleep.
Good location. Close to many convenience stores and a 24-hour mart. Good table space for own food preparation. Ice dispenser at level 2 anytime for use. Staff was helpful with requests.

Unfortunately, the room was dirty when we entered with hairs in the bathroom and toothpaste still visible. Staff allowed us to switch to another room which was cleaner, however the wall was covered with dust and you could see several handprints in the dust on the headboard above the bed. The state of maintenance in the room is "okay" and quite weathered compared to the age of the hotel. There are many dings and damages, and on the ceiling there are rather large water damage stains. The view from the window is only a 3 meter distance from the office building across the street, so it's recommended to keep your curtains closed for privacy. The facilities were closed during our 3 day stay. The gym was closed, the sauna was closed and the rooftop is not accessible at all. They close the facilities early and during holidays, which is obviously when most travelers are coming to the hotel. At night, be prepared for lots of green blinking lights to illuminate your room. The router is situated behind the TV, but with many blinking lights still there to keep you awake.
The hotel staff was polite and helpful and the room was quite spacious compared to other hotel rooms we stayed in in Seoul.
