Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe main problem we had was the air conditioning was not working, not enabled, when we arrived and we were unable to communicate this to the counter staff even with a translation app. But I was able to e-mail the hotel in English through the Booking.com app and someone replied within 15 minutes. We got it sorted out by the next day. After that we were very happy. It would be nice if there was lighting over the vanity mirror. It was a little hard to see yourself there, though that can be good in the morning. The smog in Incheon/Seoul can be pretty heavy and it shows on the windows. The neighborhood is a bit rough scrabble, but safe and polite as is Korea generally. The couch and sideboard are bit worn and repaired. It doesn't affect their use, but it is not the five star North American vibe. As a foreign visitor it seems a bit odd that there is no hooks or racks of any kind to hang a towel on and only two hangers in the wardrobe. The provided bathrobes and slippers were nice. Anything you needed could be bought for cheap in the shopping district a 20 minute walk to the north. We asked for more towels and bought wash cloths at Daiso (a dollar store).
Our Premier Cinema Family room was great comfort and privacy at a terrific price compared to hotels in North America where we would pay at least twice as much for such a large well appointed room. We did not eat in the hotel. There are many, many places of all kinds to eat in the walkable area. Western style food, Korean, Arabic restaurants and groceries, cafes within a few blocks. Also some seedy night clubs, many convenience stores. If you forgot anything you can probably buy it in the neighborhood. Especially loved the bathroom facilities and the complete quiet. Parking for our rental car was free. We used transit quite a bit as bus stops are close by and enjoyed that.

GermanySome facilities in the room looked old and / or broken (but everything worked fine). If you are looking for a hotel to explore Seoul, the location is bad (around 1.5 hours from the centre by the metro). And if you want to have a hotel near Incheon Airport it's also bad, because you can't take your luggage in the buses which are going from Incheon directly to Incheon Airport (they would take about 40 minutes). Means you have to go first to the centre of Seoul by the metro (1.5 hours) and then to Incheon Airport (around 50 minutes).
The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom (it even had a bathtub and a shower). The view of our room was great too. The beds were for our european taste a bit hard but overall comfortable. The staff at the reception couldn't speak English very well but tried to help us as well as possible, they were really kind. Around the hotel were some convenient stores.

LithuaniaThe hotel clearly has a problem with mosquitos in rooms. I read reviews before but didnt expect it to be such a terrible experience. We killed at least 6 mosquitos when we arrived into the room, yet there were many many more that kept us awake all night and we didnt rest at all before our long haul flight back home. Ceiling and walls, and even bed linen has some marks and stains from killed mosquitos, I would like hotel management to really acknowledge and prevent this issue, please.
The staff were friendly and helpful enough however there is a lack of english language. Hotel is in a alright area, close to some decent restaurants.

United KingdomThis hotel was great value. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a full size bathtub. It also had a nice view of the city at night. It was a little far to walk to the main attractions, but a reasonable 15-20 minute taxi ride to Songdo Central Park and Chinatown. I will definitely stay at this hotel chain again.
