The hostel is as clean as a 5-star hotel, neat and tastefully designed. The mattress is very soft and warm, the dormitory is very spacious and airy due to the high ceiling. Close to many supermarkets and bus stations. The kitchen is small but fully equipped. The owner has OCD so consider it if you are not the type of neat traveler who cleans it after use. Overall, this place is very safe and comfortable for me. I came back after finishing my tour of the Mangystau region.

Everything was fine.

I’m travelling by bicycle and I had no problem to park my bike and leave my stuff there. The owner makes an extra effort to keep everything clean. The bed is very comfortable and silent at night. It feels more like a friendly shared house than a hostel. There’s also a fully-equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a comfortable shared space. The owner communicates very well and recommended me the tour to Bozzhyra I needed. Extended my stay a few more days to rest after my cycling in Georgia and flying to Aktau.

Exceptionally clean. Roman, the owner, is such a nice person. Communication with him is easy, even while using a translator. The whole facility is in a good state (Toilets, shower, kitchen, lockers... All of them are plainly functional). The beds are so comfy! I was really not expecting that.

When we arrived at 5:30am and after spending 2 days on the train from Astana, we were told we could not wait in the lobby for 1 hour for our tour (also recommended by the hostel). The receptionist (man) told us they didn't work for free, and we were told to leave or pay the same amount our room was going to cost to just sit there, despite us having to check in the same day. First time we've experienced this in many months of travelling and cruel as it was cold at that time. Went and found a 24 hr cafe but left a bad taste

I really enjoyed my stay at Kaspi’s Hostel. It’s clean and the staff are very friendly. The hostel is in a safe and quiet area, close to bus stops, supermarkets, restaurants, and pharmacies, so everything you need is nearby. The facilities are great: - Bathroom: Always clean, with plenty of toilet paper and a working hair dryer. - Kitchen: Has an electric stove, microwave, cooking utensils, spices, and tea. - Bedroom: Warm and cleaned regularly. - Extras: Washing machine and clothes hangers are available. The hostel has security cameras, so it feels very safe. Even though I was often the only female guest, I felt secure. The hosts were very helpful, they booked a taxi for me and quickly answered my questions. The wifi worked well, so working remotely was easy. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for affordable and comfortable accommodation in Aktau. I’d give it 10/10!

The water didn't work for a few hours but it was fine.

It was very clean and the beds are nice and soft. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they can help you arrange tours or taxis through the Mangystau desert for a good price. Also, it is located centrally. next to a shop and close to some restaurants and most importantly close to the sea.

Too many rules to obey. No own slippers, No whisper, No alcohol, wipe dry the shower room after shower, entry to the hostel will be open and control by the owner and many...all rules are display at the reception and you will be rebuked loudly once you broke the rules, make you feel nervous.
