The top bunk's light shone directly down into my bottom bunk too (it's not one of the kinds where you can change the angle), so I got a few surprise wake-ups in the middle of the night.

Banana pancakes were delicious, staff was kind and friendly, and beds were spacious and comfortable. The common area is also quite large so there's plenty of room to be as social or not as you like. All in all an excellent spot, especially for lowkey or longer-stay travelers.

Great social but not party hostel in the centre of Luang Prabang. The common area is huge with plenty of seating to socialise, play cards or simply enjoy the view of the river. Beds were comfortable with a shelf, reading light and plug socket.

At the pool was constantly a bad smell. Also was it quite noisy. The shared bathroom was very dirty (even when not yet used). There were cockroaches in the bathroom.

Nice location and great for networking and meeting other travellers. The breakfast was also great.

Even though i spent many nights there, I couldn't get a good sleep there. It was so hot and they closed the ac at 8 am.

The air con in the rooms wasn’t the best and was hard to control the temperature.

The rooms were so lovely and clean and spacious. I especially liked that the loo and showers were in separate rooms and the sink was situated within the room meaning they were always pretty accessible. The location of the hostel was amazing with a fabulous view of the river along with the cutest little puppies ever to keep is company. The free breakfast was fab with a large outdoor seating area! I would 100% recommend this hostel to anyone planning on travelling to Luang Prabang ⭐️

There wasn't always water available and overnight in the 12 bed dorm was hot despite air conditioning. Minor complaints overall and would stay there again.

Great, well looked after hostel in a good location with a great outlook over the river. It is tucked away making it a quiet spot where you can mingle with other travellers comfortably. Great breakfast included, clean facilities and a very convenient location for a short stay in Luang Prabang.

Excellent hostel. Socially it's fantastic because there's a big common area to hang out in and the facilities are really good - there's a swimming pool, pool table, and a big terrace with a riverside view. The dorm rooms are pretty good with comfy beds and a decent bathroom. A good breakfast is included, and there are a few dishes (mainly featuring eggs) to choose from that are cooked to order. There are loads of reasonably priced tours and transport options that you can book at reception, and the main guy is really helpful. My only complaint was that the (albeit cute) dogs tended to use the toilet on the cushions in the common area, which wasn't great. I still really recommend the place though.

The sunken pool is nothing impressive but good for refreshing swims. I wouldn't ask for more at this fantastic price. The air-con was freezing at night, but I did love that during the day the window and door were often open and let in a lovely breeze.

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The pictures don't do the scenery justice. The river setting is simply breathtaking! It's so easy to flow around the hostel, the rooms are spacious, so are the common spaces. It's very handy having a separate shower and toilet per room. The staff was very helpful and kept everything super-clean. Amazing choice of free breakfast every morning, and free water, coffee and tea. The area around the hostel is simply wonderful, with lots of shops and cafes and walking distance from everything. The WiFi was good to work with. I loved the dogs at the property, too. And the price for all this? excellent!

Lots of little puppies around the common area which is cute but the whole place had a strong smell of urine. I saw them pee several times on the on floor seating with no one coming to clean after them with it just been left for others to sit on later.

The location is a few minutes walk away from all local amenities which is convenient. There is a swimming pool where you can relax and socialise. The social area is popular and a great way to meet fellow travellers. The free breakfast is fantastic and they serve fruit smoothies daily. The hostel receptionist was lovely and helpful providing tips on local attractions and activities. I appreciated his service and hospitality.

The air con is on a timer to avoid it being left on when everyone is out during the day, which is great in theory but it only turns on at 8pm so the room hadn’t cooled down before people started going to bed, having it turn on at 6 or so and turn off earlier in the morning would be much more useful, especially as the bedding provided is thick blankets!

Good location with some restaurants/cafes and shops nearby, short walk into the main town. Common area has great views over the river with plenty of comfortable places to hang out. Good free breakfast. Room was basic but good value for money, beds comfortable.

Showers in the room felt a bit antisocial like you were going to wake everyone up (and didn’t lock) but the big communal shower area was good, was clean and had loads of cubicles so never had to wait. There was also a few power black outs when I was there? The lights and water went (and air con!!). None of them lasted more than 15 minutes though. Also puppies were super cute but not sure if they were mentioned on the website, if you are allergic or scared etc.

Great social vibe easy to talk to people, and the communal breakfast area meant a lot of people chatted with everyone. Beds were comfy, and the location is right in the middle of town. Staff were great, helpful for booking anything if you wanted stuff to do or transport to the next place. Free breakfast was amazing they had a whole menu!!

Everything. Staff were helpful and accommodating - when I rejected a scooter for poor tyres and brakes they had a replacement in minutes. It's just a shame they tried to hire out a poor scooter in the first place - then again, they're a hostel and not a bike dealership.
